On reddit someone pointed out that the 6 looks like a Magatama.
Anyone who knows the first three games knows the magatama greatly relates to Pearl and Maya, so I have a feeling that they'll be returning characters.

You did it wrong, you forgot to include this   Maybe they aren't bringing Dai Gyakuten Saiban because it would be hard to explain this mess that they created. The games themselves are basically Puns: The Visual Novel
In fine print: (also featuring insane and backward courtroom proceedings)
I mean like, every character's name is a play on words somehow. The main challenge in translating any of them is probably thinking up equivalents/explanations to all the silly word plays they use. I figured that would be a problem for the last game, being set in historic Japan. That's even more far removed from what we understand lol

I've only played the first one. Are the rest pretty good too? They're all as equally great as the first. Even the Miles Edgeworth series is great, although the second Edgeworth game didn't get localized (officially). |

Ooh, an AA anime? That could really work... aindriu: They all generally follow a similar pattern. Start with a Payne tutorial case, have a kind of interesting but easy first case, have a couple where one is usually tedious and not as interesting and then end on a high note with the longest and most ridiculous case at the end. That's pretty much how it goes. I think it's worth playing through all of them just to get to and appreciate Trials and Tribulations' last case. If you liked the first game, then that's indeed what you'll be getting yourself into...they just add a few different ways to extract information/move investigation along. Each new protagonist the game adds usually has some sort of a way to read the witnesses somehow, so it ends up being not all "press and guess" lol. Looking forward to watching that trailer for the game when I get off work...in 8 hours.  |
