Will Bloodstained have online multi-player?

From what I've understood, those modes were always going to be available in the base game, and the stretch goals were more to add different features to that online play. For example, the Asynchronous Multiplayer:

And then the other multiplayer goal, the Online Challenge Mode:

They both focus on new features for the multiplayer modes, but don't mention that they're adding versus or co-op mode. The goals themselves seem to be building off of those modes mentioned in the video though, so I think it's safe to assume they were going to add the VS/Co-op to the base game anyway!


I agree that the above image from the campaign page is misleading/confusing when we already know/expected it to be in the main game. No idea why it was written that way.

(Edit: I guess the "Online Challenge Mode" could be considered the versus mode... but I really hope the versus mode is like a traditional versus mode. Hmm. That could be a good question for IGA and fangamer to clarify).

I'm hoping along the same lines as you, Dvv. I adored Castlevania: Harmony of Despair on the Xbox360. I recently got it on the PS3 and am playing it relatively frequently. I'd love for Bloodstained to have a similar mode for you to transfer your character in and use. It's early to tell yet if that'd be viable, but I would be so happy if that were the case.

I'm itching for some new Diablovania. I still remember fondly when HoD came out doing Dracula over and over again to get those sweet drops. It blew my mind how few people could dodge Demonic Megido.

I don't see how it is different from another Castlevania games. Since it is random, you can get it on your first kill or in your 1000th, they simply added item drop to bosses too. I remember reading posts in another forum about people being bored because they already had everything from the game, so I think that it is a good thing that some items are really hard to get (even if it sucks when it is me that are trying to get something ).

I didn't even knew that you could change character colors since I've never played it.

Wow, its even more cooler because at the end you all show your toys that you all didn't even needed to use. This game scales the difficult depending on the number of players? I ask this because it seemed so easy with 6 characters, with a lack of monsters and the little amount of them being massacred, even Dracula seemed to be easy.
