Honestly i don't see any threads coming up with suggestions for monsters. Not sure if it was intentional or not but instead of burring everyone under a huge wall of text id like to suggest we make a list.

I for one would love to see some yokai involved. Tailed foxes yukiona well maybe not that weird umbrella monster but you get the idea.
Oh a his and her kitsune boss would be amazing.
