MGSV:TPP anticipation thread!

I wonder if another piece of spy gear will make an appearance next to the tactical tuxedos return >P

Also ill be picking it up eventually on ps4, but had to preorder CE on xbone cause thats all they had, really wish my money was going to kojima now instead of konami >_<

OMG costumes. Half of me wishes I didn't see that. Half of me is excited.

I watched it. I wouldn't say there's no spoilers in it, but it looks like you're safe from any sort of potential plot twist spoilers. It has a bit of what has been in past trailers and a couple of other things. It did confirm something I am excited about, but it should have been a given concerning this series.

Kojima is an awesome director. I'm excited to see what he's going to do next!

The trailer only spoiled one thing I didn't know about the game yet, but it feels appropriate since it showcased all of the previous Metal Gear's Metal Gears leading up to it. So many years of this adventure, I'm excited to see it come to a wrap.

Who here plan on getting it for the ps4?

Preordered the PS4 MGSV edition about two months ago on Amazon, I'm a huge MGS fan. It should arrive on September 2nd. Need to think of a way to ditch work for a month or so...

Street date i can understand, the game isnt out yet and while its one thing to do a written review a month early which takes time to play, write, edit, print, and send out, but a stream only requires the setup, after which you cant self edit, you cant spoiler tag, and you could easily play through entire games before its even out, so saying dont stream before the game is out makes sense, its basically a leak at that point

What i dont agree with is embargoes, i dont care if its a great game or a crappy game, telling people you cant talk about the game at all is a horrible practice, and hiding a bad game behind one is straight up dishonest, its right up there with nintendos youtube policy, they need to embrace it and see it as free advertising, cause theres a lot of people whove bought games cause they saw a twitch, or a grumping, or a gdq, or any number of other internet shows out there

MGS1-4 really are fantastic games. 1 and 3 are legendary status in my eyes. I don't know what games you regularly play, but they're heavily story based and I would suggest you pick them up at some point.
