Re: DLC and Zangetsu

Switch 1.04 brought all the platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox and Switch) into ‘Content Parity’, which is a fancy way to say that they all have the same stuff. This was a big milestone for the game. When all the platforms are at the same place, it makes future updates easier to manage. The production teams can all work on the same content and release updates on a schedule with fewer long gaps.

ahem well, it's ideal to send out everything at once, and having everything on the same page w/ tools and ability to develop simultaneously, hopefully it won't be a problem again. The way that the patches for example were staggered (and the Back Pack DLC) was itself not what they would have liked. Now that the Switch is more caught up, we (hopefully) won't have further examples of very messy release schedules and very confusing timelines. Things being pieced out like that across the different platforms leads to a lot of confusion, besides the standard disappointment that the other platform's content is out but not yours.

Eternally, confusion and misinformation. 
It'll be so nice to just be able to say "hey, x is out", no footnotes or detailed abcdefg asterisks for each platform necessary.

No, no,no. Gremory took Zangetsu to the Demon World. Lol, are you sure you were playing the same game as I was? Lol COTM is totally different from ROTN. LOL 

The option of playing through the game as Zangetsu would of been awesome late last year when new game releases slowed to a crawl. It would also of been awesome to play as Zangetsu the past few months too. Just like the actual game 505/IGA have once again resorted to complete radio silence for extended periods of time since last Halloween. I'm NOT a game developer but and avid fan of this industry since 1985. I don't understand what the hold up is at this point. The assets are already there, and we just need the ability to play Zangetsu. Now the big releases of this year are drawing near and there wont be any time to enjoy the DLc characters. I say this because most of us will move on with the others who already have. I hope im completely wrong but I foresee Zangetsu and this update finally coming out as some sort of year 1 anniversary bull$hit. The last update was just pathetic and as preusual we got no firm date as to when to expect any DLC. When 505 say coming soon it could be 1 month or half a year which is ridiculous. Please excuse my horrible punctuation and grammar. At this point im washing my hands with their incompetence folks. However I hope those who stick it out actually get your DLC someday.

I really hope Zangetsu mode adds a new area as well. My favorite level in Curse of the Moon was the bonus stage after beating the game once and it would be great to see Zangetsu's personal hell make a return with ROTN graphics and colours.

I would love this! I love Zangetsu and it would be amazing to have an extra hellish area after waiting so long for this DLC. If not, I want him to be protagonist of the next game.
