We have an update to provide you regarding delivery of Japanese copies of the game to backers both in Japan and globally. Copies of the game have begun shipping this week, and will continue to do so in the coming weeks, depending on platform and circumstantial logistics. XB1 copies will be the first to arrive, and PS4 & Switch Japanese copies of the game for backers outside of Japan will be arriving last. We will also be sending digital copies of the game as soon as they’re available in the coming weeks. If you don’t receive your package or a shipping confirmation right away there’s no cause for concern, it’s just the normal processing of the production queue. We will also be providing all backers with an extra digital copy of the game for your respective platform to thank you for your patience and apologize for these unexpected delays.

I'd like to ask the staff the following questions:
1: When exactly will copies be shipped? "The coming weeks" can be mean anything from one week to months.

2: Why did this happen in the first place? Not only did you have the years the game was in development to prepare for this, you had an additional four months from delaying the game for Japan. The game is already on sale in stores everywhere in the country and yet backers still don't have their copies. This is ridiculous.
3: Will you be giving us anything close to a real apology? Your supposed apology being an extra digital copy is ridiculous given how you haven't even bothered to actually give it to us anytime close to the release date. The game was released three days ago and we still don't have the codes. And of course there are people who backed the game for downloads to begin with, why did you specify that the downloads would have to be for the same platform? What is the point of giving people multiple downloads for the same game on the same platform?
4: What will you be doing about damaged items? Most of the bonus items aside from the game have been shipped already, but they were shipped from America to Japan in small, thin, tightly-packed boxes with no padding or packing material whatsoever, and the result is that a lot of backers are receiving their items damaged.
