~Favorite Pokemon~

I played mostly with 1st Gen, and 2nd Gen of Pokemon games. The game I spent the most time on was probably Pokemon Red. Though that was when I was younger, I haven't touched any Pokemon game since besides a bit of Diamond. I guess my favorite Pokemon would be Mewtwo. He was pretty cool in that Pokemon movie, I own a VHS of that one.

I do know about the 20 creepiest Pokedex entries though.

My favorite game that's a tough one in terms of classic value probably Pokemon Yellow since I played that one ALOT as a kid and it was how I was introduced to Pokemon. Pokemon Platinum has a big place in my Pokemon history since it was when I started professional wifi battling and EV/IV training my pokes I have alot of fond memories from both.

As for my favorite Pokemon itself that's a tougher question Pikachu has a place because I started with Yellow but my favorite... ugh I can't really pick just one.

As a kid all my friends all had copies of Red and Blue those were the bees knees at the time and everyone was playing them. I begged the parents to get me one and being a time before internet ordering was really a common place thing they drove me to the local walmart. All they had in stock was a copy of Pokemon Yellow but no Red or Blue that's oddly how it became my first. Ironically the next year was when the second gen came out and I picked up a copy of Pokemon Silver. I guess I am an authentic gen 1 player by a somewhat narrow margin.

I remember playing the Japanese version of Red back before Pokemon was even known in the states. A foreign exchange student stayed with us when I was about....6 or 7 years old. He actually let me play it and I played as Squirtle back before I knew what it was. I even evolved it. About a year later, I see the same red dragon along with a blue turtle with the title "Pokemon" and I just had to pick them both up. The rest is a strange, back and forth history that includes a Christmas with my cousins as I played Gold and my one cousin played Silver with a link cable. There was the time where I was playing Sapphire and Rayquaza corrupted my game causing my irrational hatred and swearing off of legendaries.(It's also one of the reasons I'm not too keen on Gen 3) There was my worst pokemon run ever, Diamond, where I actually made so many basic mistakes that it took me 3 years to finally beat it.

Yeah...this series definitely means something to me. My favorite generation is 2, but I can see the appeal of the other generations.

I got lucky with Heartgold and found a new copy at my local Target.  I live in the desert where no one cares about anything, least of all up to date inventory.  I've been able to find some pretty cool stuff that should be WELL out of print.

When Pokemon came out in the states I was about 5 years old and absolutly adored it, I still have hundreds of cards and have played many of the games, the only game section I havent gotten to play yet is x & Y. I really like the first 3 gens of pokemon but after that there are a few neat ones though most of the time it seems like it has been stretched too much.
I still watch the originaly series and love all the first movies.

My first "Pokemon" game was actually Pokemon Stadium 1. I have great memories of the minigames, the Gym Leader Battles, and just the awesome feeling of seeing Pokemon in 3D. I had all kinds of combinations I would use, but I don't think I particularly grew attached to any of them. My first mainstream Pokemon game became Pokemon Fire Red, and from there I remember my favorite Pokemon was Arbok, Muk and Arcanine. 

To this day, poison Pokemon have been my favorite to use. The last mainstream Pokemon game I have played is Pokemon Emerald though, so I don't really know too much about how it is these days. Hope they release another awesome console Pokemon game soon though! Colosseum is my all time favorite Pokemon game. 

I've seen that picture before and swear koreans now refers to pachirisu as "god"chirisu.
