Anyone else have some experience with this series? I'm still getting through the first game. I don't have the HD collection on the PS3 yet. This is a great video about the second game which got me excited for it. I know it's 20 minutes, but give it a chance.  |

I'm still waiting for Z.O.E.3. I've played through 1, and 2 on PS2. I even bought the HD collection.
Anyways, I will confidently say that Z.O.E. is the best mecha game bar none. The 2nd Runner is just genius, and the Vector Cannon is the best thing ever.

My god, I've loved Armored Core: Project Phantasm on PSX, but this game is insane. If it had Multiplayer I could call it Armored Core on steroids. I really should check newer Armored Core titles and Zone of the Enders when I have some chance.
I like how at the end of the video they simply do a close to say "the end".
So we lose Enders Project with Kojima depart too...

A multiplayer that went beyond 1vs1 for ZoE would be hard to pull off.
If you're interested in the newer AC games, then be sure to check both For Answer (continuation of 4) and Verdict Day (continuation of 5) as they have a pretty big difference in gameplay.

Yeah, I was talking about this with some folks elsewhere. It seems ZoE3 might have been a reimagining/reboot where the mechs were more like suits of power armor worn by girls  |
