Ahem... Hey, so.. I have both the PC version and the Switch version.. The PC version of course runs like watered down molasses on speed, where as the Switch version runs like a Cheetah with all four legs broken... then it's head was dented in with a bat.
Anyway, I was thinking... I think the only possible way to fix this is to get rid of the 2.5D rubbish (dunno why anyone thought this was a good idea..... ever) and go back to glorious 2.5D sprites...
Now. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with my love for former castlevania games like SotN, AoS, DoS, PoR, and OoE. I'm really just looking out for the people who were hoping for a great and great RUNNING game on their portable console.
It makes sense if you think about it... I mean... Well...

.................. Fine. It doesn't make sense. I just want it. I always wanted it. How about this? Why not make it a DLC feature sometime in the future!? Where you can click a button and it switches from rubbish from 2.5D models to 2D sprites! I honestly believe the game would look better this way.
All joking aside though, although it's highly improbable since the first game was 2.5D, I wish they would consider making the probable sequel just 2.D. I don't think we'd be having any of these issues in a 2.D game. I also think they could spend more time increasing the content of the game if they were working on sprites rather than models for each enemy and what not. I'd take a 2.D metroidvania game that's three to four times bigger than a 2.5D game any day. Not sure why they thought they had to make this jump. A good game has really never been about graphics to begin with. I still play SotN yearly and love it every time.
