Elsword

Don't wanna go too off topic but yes it's Elsword, I just call it Elzord because I like pronouncing sword as 'zord' because it's just a habit I picked up from my friend from Pakistan. He speaks English fine but when he was a new immigrant, english was his 4th language and we were both fans of videogames and fantasy stuff, so the word 'sword' was naturally fairly common between us, except he pronounced it 'zord'. I thought it was kinda cute so I keep using it =P.

Yeah I played elsword quite a bit myself. I don't think I ever quite reached the level 70 cap cuz I was starting to really slow down but I had multiple characters at 60 when it was the cap, and they were pretty decked out too. My main was my GA with a full NBS set (well not the accessories, but I didn't care for them, I mean the wings weren't just wings, but they put some big plastic round thing on rena's bare back! how can you cover a bare back?! what the goodness?!), and an absolute 10 (I didn't spend gajillions making it, I got an easy +10 from that 2010 olympics event)... I actually have a 2nd +10 scroll on my alt account too I got form the same event iirc. I don't think I ever used it though.. heck I think I have 20 unburnt burners too I got from a bogo that I never bothered opening because I was waiting for an IB release I really liked.

But anyway I didn't like the pvp much in that game because it was way too lag sensitive for my tastes, but it was also kinda known that rena's arrows were kinda especially lag sensitive. She was great for 2v2 (GA that is, nobody thinks WS was bad at pvp, and the NW kinda went up and down wildly in public opinion) but then they got rid of that... wonder if they ever brought it back in na. I twas removed because kr removed it cuz nobody liked it in kr apparently, but it was by far the most popular pvp type in na.

Of course when I DID pvp it was utter curbstomping BECAUSE I never played it... so I was like this really low rank player who wasn't noob by any means with an absolute +10, full nbs set, etc...who was low rank because I just never played it to rank up... People thought I was one of those dreaded de-rankers but I wasn't =P.

I really liked the pve in that game even if it got really easy one you were familiar with it. But for all the pvpers who thought they were too macho for the 'easy' pve, they sure stunk at it alot of the time. Not to mention they were often too chicken to try and do the current challenges like those speed run titles. I mean everyone had supersonic from 4-6 eventually, but when 4-6 was the final dungeon, very few did... and when 5-6 was the final dungeon, few had speedholic, and when I was no longer playing much, nobody wanted to even try to get the speed title for sander. Then when something noticeably harder came out like those rare extra portals in hell mode dungeons, 3-x in particular, people would whine or even QUIT if you got it cuz they were too chicken to proceed (and no I wasn't being carried by my +10... I was rocking a +6 proxy bow when I got speedholic when it was new, and people were giving up with their +8ish cube sets.

I just wish that people who made mmd models for elsword characters would share them instead of display em and be like I wont share. grr I hate that.

Yeah magic of splendor was cool since it was a solo title, but it took me a long time to get it cuz I was even too lazy to run 6-7 or whatever it is 100 times for the requirement for it to even unlock as an available title. Isn't sword of splendor the one where you have to run 6-7 500 times?! There's a title that requires even MORE spam than that?! WDF?!

I like code nemesis, lots of fun, but had a character-breaking bug that lasted FOREVER... can't remember if they ever fixed it... The damning thing is most people didn't even know about it even though I was announcing it all the time, and it WAS aknowledged as a bug... but basically her QT would make extra numbers appear, but the enemy healthbars were not actually going down any faster...they were like fake numbers. Pretty sure they fixed it eventually, but it took a REALLY long time.

oh yeah. it worked when you were soloing...but it didn't even need a laggy host. I could literally play with my brother... that we are connected together on the same router with, and QT would STILL have that issue, and my internet is fiber optic so yeah. Is it still bork like that?

So I checked my load-up history to see exactly how much K-Ching I spent since Dec. 2011 and the grand total is...

God dammit.

I'm considering just selling my account, but I doubt I'd make that much back.
