Aspect ratio doesn't need to be factored in when comparing BSROTN with SOTN. I'm thrilled that I now have this to reference every time somebody wants to make that bad argument. The counter-argument is that the inverted SOTN portion of the castle doubles the size of the overall playable space. While BSROTN has invert, the gameplay is different. I believe SOTN regular castle is 942 AND inverted doubles for about 1890 rooms. BSROTN without inversion is just shy of 1600. Everyone is right! It just depends on how you want to count. We'll just have to make a second game with an even bigger castle so there's no debate.

But how many squares will be devoid of enemies or content, such as Tower of Twin Dragons winding, empty tower, Bridge of Evil and the corridors of background, or Den of Behemoths and the 20+ squares of empty sky to high jump through?

Not trying to be pedantic here but this has been my biggest issue with the game thus far, the failure to be "Iga's Largest Game." Granted I, and likely many more people, will throw wads of money for castle expanding DLCs, so that's something to keep in mind. Would be way better than just random cosmetics. That being said, I'd be thrilled to see a sequel that makes this game look small by comparison. 3000 rooms or bust.

For a POR comparison, we would probably have to factor in the aspect ratio bonus and say that the castle is literally bigger, even if it's a hundred rooms shy of POR. Once again, I think everyone is right depending on how we look at it.

i killed it 77 times to upgrade the shard to grade 9. It was a nightmare Count yourself "lucky"; I killed it 91 times to get to grade 9. The only one possibly more annoying is Kunekune.

When factoring in size of the castle, I don't factor in the inverted castle from SOTN because the inverted castle SUCKS MY BALLS...and not in a good way. Care to guess which shard is my least favorite in Bloodstained by default?
Back to the regular grievances, I definitely understand and see where you are coming from for quite a few of your points. I'm all for improvements and the enemy variety/end game parts don't seem like they will get fixed outside of a sequel. Den of Behemoths was an exercise of frustration not for difficulty, but for being a pain to navigate and really boring. Not sure why the ice part was so short either, but hey. Also, the english version of the fairy song is subpar, especially when I think about the english Fairy song in Symphony and how well produced it is.(Or compare it to any Wayforward vocal tracks) Someone needs to go over that again and touch it up...or re-record it. This is why I said they should have taken as much time as they needed.(Maybe to Winter 2019?)
I'm happy with the game so far and I'm excited for the expansions.
