Would you consider distributing those to the people who buy the game? The first one is mandatory for every game, because it is practically a manual, not a walkthrough... And the artbook would be a great addition to the game as "goodies"/"extras", especially in digital stores such as Steam and GOG. The latter also, have a tendency to negotiate with developers, in order to provide those digital accessories, usually included for free, or in rare cases, stuff like artbooks are given as bonus, in "deluxe editions" of a game.
Would you ever consider the possibility of such a thing? Especially retro gamers, really appreciate old style game "packages", with as many things included as possible, like in the old days...

I'd tend to agree, especially about the "Strategy Guide". As you say, it's basically a manual, not a Strategy Guide, and some of the extra details about the mechanics fix the fact that the game itself doesn't talk about them (except on loading screens, randomly).

I am desperately excited for the strategy book thing, but I have no idea how we can get our hands on it.

I am desperately excited for the strategy book thing, but I have no idea how we can get our hands on it. Trust me when I say you are not missing anything special with the "Strategy Book". I really does resemble a manual and I suspect it may be the same manual that comes with the console versions. It has a section in the beginning for the controller layout (which again is identical to what you would find in a console game) and a table of contents along with a basic cast of characters description. It has a page describing the "game screen" and another describing the "pause screen" for those who have never played a video game. Don't lose any sleep over this "bonus" (quotes intended).
EDIT: After a bit of reflection I decided to scale back on the sarcasm. I think they intended to replicate the in-depth manuals that came with games from the PS2 and earlier eras. A more accurate description for it would be "Retro-style Manual" rather than billing it as a strategy booklet. It's still definitely the lesser of the two bonus pieces.
The artbook on the other hand is really quite something with detailed notes about each area of the game and art for most if not all characters, enemies and weapons. There are also developer notes regarding how the story came to be; apparently Gebel was originally supposed to be the main character, but the team felt he didn't stand out enough for the lead role. All in all this piece of memorabilia is definitely a worthwhile keepsake.

I would say the strategy book and the artbook are underwhelming. I think the artbook is mediocre and the strategy book is not even fit to be called as a strategy book.

Off topic, but love the avatar pic. Would love to see one of those where it transitions between Pure Miriam and either her normal or a corrupted version of her.
