I don't see that as necessarily a good thing though...It means the developer/publisher don't have to answer to backers and can do whatever the hell they want *wink*epic exclusivity*wink*. Like that would affect me as a console player if they use the same publisher. Well lucky you console gamer....not so much for pc gamers like me though.
Edit: Just noticed my digital steam codes had arrived....Waiting for steam to release tomorrow morning.

The problem with your logic is that Shenmue 3 made more money in it's Kickstarter and guess what, it's still going to be an Epic exclusive... there are several examples of this you can watch this video if you like. But the point is, is that while 505 does "owe" us somethings that's not the same thing as being accountable to us, if you want Angel and whomever else at 505 to be accountable to you buy stock in the company. Backers of a project don't get to dictate internal policies and corporate direction of the companies involved. But relax Bloodstained isn't an Epic exclusive and there is no sign of that happening in the future. |

I'd probably back again, but not for as much. Even if the campaign had gone off perfectly that would be the case though, this was a one-time-only money dump for me. The game is a major success and shouldnt need KS again anyway.

So far I have backed the following projects
-Mighty Number 9 (An utter total mess)
-Bloodstained ritual of the night (I consider this project very successful)
-The elder dice (You cant mess up dice...or can you?)
-Toejam and earl back in the groove (another successful kickstarter project)
-Swat kats (sadly we tried but cartoon network has different ideas)
If Iga wanted money for a bloodstained 2,He would have my support,He has delivered on his promises on making a symphony of the night successor true to the spirit of what I fell in love with
Not going to say much about shenmue and what they did other then what they did was total bs and that kickstarters that switch to epic without the permission of the backers funding your game is nothing short of scummy

I've noticed that the tracking doesn't update right away either, so our deliveries could be closer than it seems. However, at this point in the day I know I'm not getting it today, and since I work the next two days I won't have a chance to play until the week-end  |

Speaking of Shenmue, the remaster was a horrid disapointment that it seems they have no more interest in fixing. Shame on them. I just can't be bothered to care anymore. 11 games planned and it has taken all this time just for 3?
Sorry, Yu. I don't believe we are going to get to see how this story ends, unless he changes his wishes for the game and ends it in 3 or 4 titles, which is not how he envisioned it.
Kinda glad I did not back that game, now.

Well, I have to admit after you play muramasa rebirth and odin sphere it does feel like there is a lot less action when you play igavania games again. I absolutely loved the Odin Sphere remake on PS4, in my mind Bloodstained will basically be competing against it when it comes to modern top class 2D games. I just finished looking at some videos for Odin Sphere on PS4...to me it looks like the game is very different from Igavania type games. Trust me it's metroidvania, it won't have the rpg elements of games like aria and dawn of sorrow, order of ecclesia etc. but you still have many special moves and you travel through maps side scroller style. When I was looking for quality stylish 2d games in that igavania style muramasa rebirth was fantastic and then I learnt of odin sphere from the same developer. |

I'd easily recommend them to people that love Igavania games. In fact I found them out when I was searching for Igavania games when the drought happened and we had nothing. |
