A 2D sonic game by the original team!

I'll basically have confidence in Sega again once they start making good games and actively localize desired titles no matter their nature.

They're still promising PSO2 is on the way, while pretty much everyone knows they're not even working on the damn localization.

Couldn't be bothered to localise Valkyria Chronicles 3 ... that really annoyed me.

These kickstarters have alot to do with it..whether the large corporations admit it or not!

I miss the good old days when Yuji Naka and his team oversaw the development of Sonic the Hedgehog games.

Have any proof of this? Ive been following pso2 west since its announcement and I havent seen sega say SQUAT other than "It has been delayed".

After they blatantly refused to fund the development of Bayonetta 2 SEGA has become a company I refuse to support. First they claim they don't have the money to fund it, and then they go around and buy Atlas. when PlatinumGames, the creators of the Bayo series went to talk to them about it, Sega just claimed they didn't think the franchise was worth investing in. It's because of them Bayonetta 2 almost didn't get made.

Hell when Bayo2 was still in development, there were people over at Sega making attempts to sabotage the games potential sales. People who called and asked the Sega Customer support about the title, people over at Sega would just say its a port of the first game with her sporting a new Design. They were telling people not to bother with the game, and to just buy the 360 or PS3 version.


Seriously, fuck those ass holes! I don't care if they technically own the series IP, I hope Nintendo buys it from them. I honestly hope Sega crash's and burns, big time. Let Nintendo acquire all of their IP's. SEGA needs to just die already, they're no better than Konami or Capcom.

But thats the thing, it wasnt just a port of the first game. It was an advancement of the story, the inclusion of additional modes, new characters: it was a legit new game and Sega just went around claiming it was a port of the first game. they didn't even bother to try and get in touche with P* or Nintendo regarding its development. This whole "if its not Sonic, we don't care." mind set of theirs is just toxic. They have so many different IP's they could work with, Jet Set Radio, NiGHTS, Alex the Kid, and Phantasy Star. However they have constantly shot down ideas for new Jet Set Radio games, and refuse to port Phantasy star Online 2 to the west simply because 'fans already translated the PC version, so we dont have to do it our selves'. They're just lazy good for nothings. They don't care about anything that isnt sonic related, and even then, they are constantly pushing Sonic Boom down everyone's throats when its obviously none of their hardcore fanbase even likes it.

At first I thought SEGA was coming back to the console market, that is my dream but sadly won't happen... again...

I even thought that this anime had helped boost SEGA confidence to do that and had something to do with this news:




But after reading it, I was wrong. Maybe I entered in the "Corrupt a Wish" thread by mistake?
