I've basically come to the realization that it's the best Tales game because the gameplay budget accidentally went to the story department and music-bending warlock Go Shiina for the soundtrack. I can't consider its story all that great. Imo the story and gameplay were merely passable. I don't remember the music, so I'll have to give it a bit of a listen. One of my favorite OST's from the past couple of years has been from a game that a lot of people passed on, due to the weird story, lack of a high seller series, sub-par gameplay (which is still pretty great), and some FPS drops. It sort of frustrates me that such a great OST got overlooked so horribly.

Ssh owns. And in case someone wants to explore it and doesnt know what it stands for (ive been there) its saitama saiszu heiki.
Also speaking of touhou, ssh's remi and kaggy themes are godlike. Seriously... Kaggy has one of my fave themes to begin with but her remixes always disappoint me to some extent, but ssh nails it.

It's not so much that Legendia has a fantastic story as it is that Tales of the Abyss completely overhauled the combat in a good way but ended up being - in my opinion - the indisputable nadir of the series in terms of writing.

Old topic resurrection! (and/or paging Dragon_of_Dojima ) I can't stop listening to the songs from the various entries in the Yakuza series. They're all amazing, span a TON of genres, and sound great while checking off all the points I consider to be necessary for good video game music: having a unique sound that fits the situation, being memorable, and being a good piece of music in its own right. Of particular interest is this awesome boss theme from Yakuza 0: This intense chase music from Yakuza 4: And an arrangement of a classic in Project X Zone 2: Let me get this straight....while I'm away not only is there a new thread involving video game music, one of my favorite subjects, but a fellow Yakuza fan too!?! AHHH!! I wish I could post some of my favorites but I'm tired and need sleep.(Also the computer I'm using is slow) I'll come back later.
