Hey all! This is a tiny suggestion to take the special attacks (currently only found on boots and katanas) but to add more to other weapons. Each filling a specific niche, and each having different commands to pull off.
f = forward direction (the direction you're facing) d = down, crouching b = backward direction (your back)
2h Sword/Axe/Hammer - fd attack - tremor - you slam your hammer into the ground and hit all enemies in radius Rapier/Spear 1 - rapidly press attack - multithrust - you lose all forward momentum and make lots of quick strikes in front of you, eventually covering a 60 degree arc in front of the character. 2h Sword/Spear 2 - df attack - vault - you thrust the butt of your weapon into the ground to perform a long jump, doubling your jump length (you are also a careening ball of destruction while vaulting.) 1h Sword 1 - bdf attack - whirlwind slash - you spin with your sword attacking all enemies in radius
Redogan: ^^ Game looks pretty solid....for a mobile game. Maybe it will do well.

Yän: meh... konami's dead

Ryngar Acia: ...or they've just been in a stupidity-induced coma for the past several years. Maybe they'll wake up someday? ;;

Yän: They already lost many of their best people. Even if they made some decent choices again, they'd never get back to their glory days

Ryngar Acia: It still seems like they a have fair amount of talented people, though. I dunno about returning the "glory days" but they could still be doing so much better, if the higher-ups would just pull their heads out of their butts.

purifyweirdshard: I think they'll do something decent again, eventually. The new mobile game might not be that thing, but the anniversary collection was a step in a good direction

purifyweirdshard: lol yeah I saw those ancient PC ports. I imagine they have little to no configuration for them and probably don't work with most controllers. It's also pretty weird to release CV/Contra like that when their anniversary collections exist

purifyweirdshard: The novelty for that PC collection to begin with was to have it on a PC CD, and all of these were waaaay before the era of Steam, so...yeah it just still seems like Konami trying to make easy money again

purifyweirdshard: hahaha MSX MG1 requires a 1.8 ghz processor and 2 gb of ram huh. Somebody out there has to upgrade to meet these 1990 specs
