Having a giant tentacle which wrecks the screen and does pretty good damage seems a bit OP for being the reward from the first boss in the game. I also noticed that you can't upgrade the shard (since its from a boss). Maybe it should be upgradeable with the current animation saved for a higher level of the shard, with lower levels being a smaller tentacle sweep (and not have the screen shake).
