Hi all, esp. devs, I'm really happy with how the game has been progressing over the years and I had some constructive feedback I'd like to give based on my time with the new demo.
- The voice acting is mostly great with a few caveats. First, the scream Miriam makes when absorbing a shard is really jarring, and not something I want to hear especially every single time I pick up a new shard. Especially not with my wife overhearing it. (Yeah I'm old.) There's also something really odd about Miriam's mouth when talking during cutscenes. On the same subject, Anne's voice does not match her model at all. I get she's supposed to be a child, but her model looks like a teenager and her voice is trying to emulate a six-year-old or something. It doesn't match at all.
- I'd love a hot-key for swapping a shard build. Jumping back into the menu every time to equip a new shard can pull you out of the action. If I could quickly change pre-set builds I've made with shards and weapons, combat would flow so much better.
- For alchemy, it would be really helpful if there was some kind of mark or filter to indicate what I can actually make, instead of manually going through every item. If there is and I missed it, please disregard.
- Could we get a bestiary early in the game? I'd love to grind and understand what shards or items I'm missing from enemies. Took me a while to realize Morte's don't drop shards.
- I also think that the game's font, especially in the intro movie, could be something much better.
Those are some preliminary thoughts, but it's loads better since the last demo a year ago. I'm really liking where this is going and think it's going to be wonderful once it's finished.

As for equipment, most players will only move with either the D-pad or analog stick. There could be 2 controller options for people to pick which one they want to use, and then the other one could become a hot key/hot swap for equipment.

Another quick note, I'd like pop-up indicating progression with quests. For instance, the first one tasks you with killing eight mortes. A pop-up showing my progression half-way through would be nice, as well as something indicating that I've wrapped it up, without needing to manually check in the quest menu.
