Similar to the request for swapping between two sets of weapons/equipment (which I also would like), I'd like to see gun ammo be selectable from outside the menu as well. Since it looks like there's only a dozen or so variants, I was thinking a megaman style switching system using LB/RB to cycle through the ammo types. This will make guns much more useful since you can switch between the infinite ammo and specialized ammo while walking. Going to the menu to swap is cumbersome.
