So while playing the game, it is very apparent that the audio for the game isn't that great in terms of balancing.
Voice volume overpowers majority of other audio, but lowering it lowers dialogue audio, but it sounds like cinematic volume is tied to something else?
This is a problem just due to the fact that due to 99% of the time you when you attack with Miriam, the grunts are overpowering all other audio and gets irritating to where we would lower the volume, it also sounds like when you get hit, the audio that plays sounds like it's separate from the voice volume.
Though having to raise the volume back up before entering a cutscene with dialogue or anything is inconvenient, especially not knowing when those instances will happen. A way to rectify this would be adding a separate audio bar for cutscene/dialogue, which would be fantastic.

There's also an interesting situation where the background sounds get louder during dialogue.

I came on here just to say that Miriam's attack screams are too loud, too frequent, and too annoying. As mentioned, they don't always fit either as some screams sound like agony. I was trying to put this in perspective by thinking about Alucard (SotN) and his attack grunts. The difference is his volume was lower and his pitch/tenor was less piercing. You really could only hear it if you were paying attention, they didn't interrupt the rest of the flow (such as soundtrack or other game sounds). I don't know if a re-record is necessary, or if there are other sounds they've already recorded, but this definitely needs tweaking.

Agreed here. While there's a lot of neat sounds, and the music is great, there need to be some changes to the way Audio is handled.
-More audio controls, including cutscene voice volume, and battle voice volume. -Better balancing of what is being heard and at what volume throughout cutscenes and gameplay. -Rerecording of nearly every sound Miriam makes
Miriam's grunts and screams are not recording in line with what is happening. Her shard acquisition and attack grunts, which quite frankly are 80% of what we hear while playing, are just absurdly loud, dramatic, and out of place.
