If you jiggle the right analog stick in some directions as you walk, it looks like Miriam is waving leaving a trail of happy sparkles. It looks great, especially when she's a Jagi cosplayer in bunny slippers.

I just wish the villagers would wave back. It would do a lot to humanize them, especially Anne and her terrifying, empty stare. Lindsay would have layers added to her character if she greeted you shrieking "YEAH, GO TEAM REVENGE-MURDER!" and it would generally liven up the village.
