I understand it may be padding but I liked the idea of an entire second castle. Like what SotN did. When I play Igavania types I usually like the grind, so finding rooms that have bigger meaner monsters in them is always a plus, especially if their drops are worth while.
If an "inverted" castle does exist in some, flipped/remixed, kind of way I would not mind as long as it contains enough new things that it was worth my time exploring them. I mean you can only obtain the crissagrim sword in the inverted castle of SotN. Or the Alucard shield.
With the inclusion of new game+ having an entire second castle of 1600 rooms would be a really big playground for me to get lost in. The original SotN had 945 rooms for just one castle so 1890 for both was pretty big and bloodstained would just be under that by 290, for just one castle.
With more rooms may also mean more bosses they may go this route or they can go with "rare" encounters for some rooms instead. where some rooms may have a 25% chance each entry to spawn a stronger or faster enemy type that have better drops.
My conclusion is that I would be happy with an entire second castle for a total of 3200 rooms to explore but if there will not be enough worth while content then sticking to 1600 would be good enough with the promise of good content appearing more often.

Sensible. Some parts of this statement you've made are why I would personally want the Bloodstained team to work on only this one big Castle until the planned release in 2017. Sometime after the game is released is when I think they should start working on the 2nd Castle, as DLC. Hopefully, the 2nd Castle will indeed be very different from the first one, and just as detailed with more varieties of enemies and even new Relics/Items to collect to help with traversing the Castle.

Where is the "No Preference" button!?
Honestly. I'm leaving my mind open to impressions when it comes to this castle. I would prefer it be organically designed, fitting with the theme of what they envisioned and less about what's 'expected'. I expect a fun experience with something that relights my childhood joy for the game. That's about it. I don't want to limit their creativity on this.

Or at least, I don't want the Bloodstained staff to think that I'll be angry if they don't listen to me. It's their game. Iga's game. I'm not a professional game designer, and I don't have the information necessary to make any such calls even if I was. I suck.

I just hope there is enough enemies to such big castle.
Anyway, I hope to see a crystallized version of the castle. The curse now is so strong that it has life and took control of everything. Now, Miriam has to destroy the core of the curse, but where it is? Nobody knows, even myself who is suggesting this thing.

Well, I'm having problems with the concept.
See with so many modes we have, secrets can come like candy. Our "Roguelike" mode could have secret sections of it, which means the number of rooms will be unlimited. The main section will likely have secret sections and sections cut off due to conditions, that's kind of the thing of Metroidvanias, let alone Igavanias.
And then there's always the chance that the Classic Mode might have secret areas and rooms.
So... limiting it to a percentage. I don't know. I'm back to 'no preference'. I do feel that some portion should be specific to exploration and that this effects the 'ending' in some manner - as I feel that's intrinsic to the genre at this point. But beyond that? I've really no exact preference.

I think the options are lacking some choices, as i believe it should not be more than 1/5 (20%) and not less than 1/10 (10%). It made me wonder how many percentage of the rooms are actually secret rooms on other igavania games, anyone knows?
