I honestly would love a second castle.
1. It's not exactly like SOTN because it's a different castle.
2. It extends the playtime by a lot since it's the whole castle.
3. Different enemies usually inhabit it which up the difficulty and different bosses.
4. It's fun seeing the layout in reverse.
We've had many extra locations post game since SOTN but we've n ever had a return of the inverse castle. I think it'd be great for a comeback. However, maybe they can somehow make it their own? An inverted Stained glass version of it? Something unique to set it apart.

I tried to see what 1600 rooms would look like. Note that this is a 81*81 picture featuring 1600 rooms separated by lines (which might make it somewhat looking bigger), all next to each other, all only 1 pixel long. Zoom-in for a better look. Now don't forget they'll arrange them nicely to form a castle, and the rooms won't be 1 pixel long on the map. (I previously made a huge mathematical mistake which I hope nobody saw, the shame. I hope I didn't mess up this time...)

It will give the dev. team more time to create new content for the new castle map and maybe even new BGM for it, also new areas for the boss only parts of the castle for Boss Revenge mode. I personally would love to see about 1/3 of the total 1600 rooms as boss only areas. So maybe 533 + 1600 rooms on Boss Revenge..? This also leads to another question... would Rogue-like dungeons be applied for Boss Revenge?

I thought after reaching the stretch goal of "Iga's Biggest Castle Yet", the castle would easily surpass anything shown in past Igavania games. And that castle would be doubled with an inverted/alternate/upside-down/etc castle. Are we really only limited to 1600 rooms?

That means for the statement "IGA's largest castle" to remain true, 1600 rooms has to be the size of one castle. If there is a second castle, demon realm, whatever, it will be in addition to the 1600 room number given. However the smartest thing to assume that there is only one castle with 1600 rooms (which should be PLENTY especially since I expect there to be more diversity in the castle interior compared to past IGAvanias) as 1600+ rooms sounds like an insane amount of work.

Well, when I said "correct", it was about gunlord500 ""at least" 1600 rooms", not about the castle having 1800 or 2000 rooms Actually, I think it will be something between 1600 and 1699. Otherwise, it would be "over 1700"... and so on. However, who knows? Iga Team can put 2000 rooms in the end. The only thing we officially know is that it will be more than 1600 rooms.

Between 1601-1699 Rooms, or 1600+ Rooms as I'll call it for now.
The main Castle needs that much...so that the possible DLC 2nd Castle could have even more (though it doesn't need to have many more).
