Greetings, friends!
I fired up the game demo today to discover there is not support for 21:9/ultrawide resolutions in the demo, which is not surprising as it often is left out of games. However, the demo is currently stretching my game screen when I choose any resolution (I even tried 2560x1440), instead of pillarboxing the screen. Is this going to be fixed in the release of the game (either pillarboxing or actually supporting ultrawide aspect ratios)? Currently I have to run it in Window mode, which then shows the rest of my desktop and is not ideal. I don't recall the original demo doing that, but it was a long time ago, so it is possible I have forgotten...
I will post more feedback after playing the demo, but wanted to get this posted right away.
Thanks!

I'd also like to request support for 16:10, which is a common PC resolution. I am forced to stretch from 16:9, which isn't too bad, but I would rather have some kind of border and playing it natively in 16:10 than stretching the image. The emulated 16:9 ratio also messes up background windows. Of course, the best would be to have native support, showing a bit more of the level.
I am set up for the Switch version which will probably be fine regarding this, but if you aim for the PC market, please do it properly and don't make a console game with a PC aftermarket priority mindset.

So I updated my Nvidia drivers, which surprisingly needed a reboot and after changing a setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel, now the game works as expected (for a game that doesn't support ultrawide resolutions). I had to check the box for Override the scaling mode set by games and programs in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and now I have black bars. If they will not implement 21:9 aspect rations, I would ask they at least don't stretch the presentation in the game.
@mumle, if you have an Nvidia card, the setting above may give you the black bars you need (I set mine to scaling mode Aspect Ratio and checked the override box).
Thanks to all that offered assistance!

Finallf Not sure if the above settings might help you play. Ultrawide is a pretty rare request, so I'm not sure the development resources would be diverted to that anytime soon.
