The codes will probably be sent starting tommorow. It'll give every the chance to pre-download the game before the giant rush that'll come with the official release.

Since there's no preorder or pre install option on PSN/and as far as I know anywhere else I'm guessing that we will have to wait till the site update on the 24th and they will generate the codes then and give them them to Inti/Fangamer who will then send them to us.

roguedragon05 I think you're right about having to wait till the 24th to get the codes, however there is at least one place that has the game for preorder. the U.S. Switch Eshop doesn't even have CoTM on the coming soon section, but the Japanese Switch Eshop has had the option to preorder it for a few days now. not that it really makes a difference, I just think it's interesting

Seems like you'd still get to play it on 3DS on launch since it's only the European eShop that's delayed. As for the XB1 that one is worldwide. |

Slip ups happen and that's fine, but those supporters who are the ones paying the price for the dev's mistake should at least be given an option to change their desired platform if they wish. I understand that would mean a fair amount of extra work on inti's part but it's their mistake and the consequences should be on them rather than the supporters.
In addition to that those supporters who do decide to buy the game again normally for another platform are essentially helping inti profit off of their mistake. I don't believe that to be inti's intent at all but the situation still feels a bit slimy.

As far as it being more work for Inti it would go beyond that as Fangamer would also have to get involved, probably even more. While Inti could make that decision for themselves. They could'nt ask everyone else to rip apart everything after they'd gotten put together, but I agree between this and not letting fans know in advance while maybe not anyone's fault it still sucks. I'd go to the Inti home page and Email them your concerns maybe they will come up with something on their own after launch like refunding one of your purchase. |
