It would appear the domain bloodstained.com has been registered, at least according to the landing page for the domain (unless I'm reading it wrong):
"The domain name bloodstained.com has been registered by NetNames."

Yeah really, damned domain squatters! But in the grand scheme of things, 5k isn't that much, at least if you consider the possibility of this becoming an ongoing franchise. Probably best to suck it up now than to have to pay more once the series becomes popular and well-known.

Maybe the reason we have been waiting has been DNS aerver propagation across the internet. That took a full 24 hours with Bloodstainedfanforums.com
