Will this game have a denuvo ?

That would be awesome on so many levels if they actually did that.  I'm undecided whether overall it would be a good awesome or a bad awesome though.

Doubt it will have any anti piracy, personally.

Th game will be on GOG as well, which means DRM-free.

So even if Steam(Which is DRM), eShop, PSstore, etc have anti piracy built in, Pirates will be able to get easy access via a GOG copy.

I for one really hate anti consumer DRM especially Denuvo. Luckily Iga is smart enough to release the game without DRM. If this game has DRM, I would not back it in the first place,

I know many games do not remove denuvo even after it was cracked.  I backed the game to support Iga and the game not Denuvo.

Personally, I say if corporations are allowed to complain that emulation is nothing but piracy, I think we're allowed to complain about even eventually-removed DRM as really only screwing decent customers over.

Piracy will always be around. But for the sake of us fans, we should be happy about getting it legal and to aid IGA-san to make it even happen.

GOG is my choice, since I want the game to work on my computer even though Internet is down or steam is hacked. Offline singleplayer inside of me says it's a good choice. Not because of any illegal activity. Also I got it on PS vita and Switch. PS vita should be able to play it offline while Switch, like Steam might need to upgrade the system and update the content every now and then, which to me is just a plain pain. Matter of taste maybe.

If we talk about protection, the way some games did it was to change things. Like an error message would pop up at the ending or bullets replaced with chickens. Imagine if this game had immortal bosses if it was hacked or similar!?

I would rather see a fun way to pick out the pirates instead of hardcore lock it. But that's just me. I am honest at least, but I can't expect everyone else to be it.
