I believe I saw that Miriam's back crystal is now back to 2D rather than 3D in a shot I saw Enkeria share. I need to look at the SXSW cooking thing where she turns around and see if it's flat there too.
What do you prefer?

Oh dude, it's been flat back there for a long time. Ever since they dropped the aura in 2016 iirc.
I asked Angel about that a while back too, and I believe it was related to that change, but it might have been one of those things we never heard back on.

Would be interesting if it started out relatively flat, and then grew as the game goes on and you collect shards.

I don't think I ever saw it sticking out. I prefer it flat, but I hope it looks more like glass and less like tattoos.

I think it would be difficult to give it a glassy appearance as a flat texture instead of a 3D object given the character art style. I think I prefer the 3D formation, but it's probably easier to do costumes with 2D. I can live with either.

I want it to be 2,5 D, so it unfolds when she wants, and turns back in when she doesn't need it. Either as wings or a shell to protect her. I guess they could be leaf-thin too.
