All I want to know really is who the other playable characters are. from there updates regarding character abilities, weapons, and maybe even costumes, would be awesome update info. Please be Gebel, please be Gebel, please be Gebel... They reached the playable boss mode stretch goal, so Gebel is technically playable through that already. I'd much rather they be Johannas and someone new

Play as Ben Judd using belt-whip. Ben Judd dual wielding a belt-whip and a giant judge's gavel! And he yells "Objection!" when he swings the belt!!! When he swings the gavel and hits an enemy if it hits and doesn't kill the enemy he yells "Overruled!", but if it does kill the enemy he yells "Sustained!" ROTFLOL!!!

Boss Revenge Mode allows players to "control several different bosses, utilize their special attacks to wreak havok, explore a new BOSS REVENGE area, and turn the tables and defeat “Hero” Bosses in your pursuit of humanity's destruction." I'm not sure if that new area is in addition to the main castle or in place of it.

I thought we were just having an enjoyable conversation about updates > specifically what update you want > something I'd like to see related to the specific update you voiced interest in> something you'd like to see related to the specific update you voiced interest in> game modes (which we still need more info on, and thus would be a great topic for an update). Heck, several people even joined in with suggestions on the topic of the extra characters, including the OP of this thread... yet your post was a reply to mine, not to any of theirs, even though the only content in your reply was "move this convo somewhere else, not here". You could've easily posted that without a quote so as to not single me out, but hey. I guess next time I feel like having an organically flowing conversation with you, I'll consult the list of threads on this site before I open my mouth, so I can make sure I put my post in the right place.

I voted for the second option, but I don't really want a monthly update. If we get one, that's fine... but...
I don't want them to feel pressured to have something to show us. Certain things take time and if they show us something that doesn't look the way everyone wants it to then they could end up changing something genuinely good because of peoples worries. I sort of worry about how much the public can influence a project, basically. I want them to show us the basics of how the game is coming along, whenever they feel they're at a point where they can show us something nice. I'd like for them to include us in certain votes and such, like if they have a disagreement about Miriam's attacking animation, then I'd like for them to see what we think. On the other hand, if they have something they're happy with I don't want them to include us (we could ruin it).
I also don't want to be spoiled, even though I'm practically guaranteed to spoil myself as soon as I can before the final product is out. I'm not really sure how I feel about that, but I'm excited for the final product nonetheless. I basically want the devs to consider us, but not use us as a rule. This is their creation and they know what they're doing, but we're also a powerful source of opinion and inspiration too.

I voted "don't show me too much", because while I don't want to be spoiled, I'm really interested in things that are related to the reasoning behind the design, the tidbits about the thought process of the people involved. I especially enjoyed Iga's comments in the first video of the game we got to see. You rarely get to hear that kind of insight directly from developers.

So here's my feeling on this. I do want frequent updates. I don't feel that they should be scheduled updates. I've found that when a developer commits to regular updates, you usually either get dull updates or disappointment when an update is delayed.
