They have said that they will give us more information about it, but not yet. Cross fingers! We have no idea.

I've been saying "all of 2017" and what little I've heard from putting that out there sounds like it's a safe bet. If that is soundly safe, then very early 2018 is probably okay too, but any further than that and we're getting dangerously close to the actual release date of the game. ArtPlay, Fangamer and 505 are going to need a lot of time to get a lot of things ready, so it closing sooner rather than later is good for them (and everyone who wants the game faster). So, I'd jump on it as soon as you're able.

Aaahhhh I still gotta order mine as well ;o; I was meant to do it, what, 2 years ago? But frickin' Nintendo wasn't slowing down on all those beautiful 3DS releases... 16th of November is probably my earliest. If not, the 30th of November for sure.
I do worry though. Purify is right. You saw all of those backer tiers, I'm sure. It's going to take quite awhile for the team to get everything in order, as well as distribution(gotta think of the overseas too). They'd need to make a cut off date, and if the game is going to be in the first quarter of 2018, I'd wager a couple months, at the least...
You might just make it in though!

The 2nd demo? First is fun Yup. It is clear that they refuse to release the demo to backers because they want to use it in gaming events. To be honest, I feel a bit disappointed at the way they treat the backers. Everyone have a different view on things. For me, I never expected a demo at all. I see how difficulty it is to both balance a game with x amount of features, just to cut it out and fix a game slice for "everyone" to play with (on PC). I do not know if we are getting the 2017 E3 demo, or something new. Living in a country where no events exist, makes you also wonder why the demo is not out for backers. When it comes down to it, I believe IGA wants the best for the most vivid fans, and while working on it he sees flaws that must be addressed and this keeps on pushing the game slice. Also, he might not want you to play the same area again, which would be just fine for me! I could totally play the Galleon Minerva with updated graphics and structures. Cut out dialogues and such. Crafting and even try different weapons on a boss would be cool to for testing. Imagine you pick a weapon in the menu and just enter a boss-stage. Perhaps unlimited supplies outside for crafting, just to try it out. Have a boss which spawns lesser enemies. That kind of test would involve 2 rooms, 1 boss, 1 lesser demon, and the crafting feature. That kind of demo would perhaps be smaller in size and easier to do, IF they already have this kind of boss in the game, and the crafting feature up and running.

The prior demo release leaked out several things that I don't think they intended or were happy with, so I think they're going to be careful about that now and not push something out while they're also very busy from game show season/everything else to prevent potential oversight. To release it now would also potentially be redundant and add work unnecessarily since they're planning to give us two of the "game slice" (as Enkeria put it) pieces before the game is out. I'd actually prefer if it were something new/different than the E3 2017 part, since I've seen just about everything I can from that.

The thing is E3 demo is ready, no extra work for them other than distributing it to backers. Regarding the "crafting" demo, I think it is really interesting.

Good point but I hope they address the issue, tell the backers instead of ignoring it. We backed the game because we have confident in Iga. I just want to say that my confidence level is decreasing over time and it is up to the dev to restore and retain the confidence level of a fan. While I don't want to spread negativity or rush them to finish the game, I just want them to update us on the demo or the beta.

I can't say too much about what to expect, but I can confirm that the future demo will be very clean. How ever they choose to present it, it will be about features they want us to take part of, and to leave feedback on. The details are up for speculations, but as Angel said during the latest podcast / interview - they might need help in testing things out. Just having a game slice, for our enjoyment are, and I understand this, a lower priority, even if it feels high to the gamer / backer. And when they promise something like 2 playable demos, it really is all about getting them out before the launch of the game. No date are set for either demo(s) or release.
And the current demo of 2017 actually feels old. And I am not saying this as a pedant gamer, but from a creative view - and as a designer myself, just a few changes makes the old version become incomplete and not that very interesting anymore, except if it have a history of bugs and errors that needs to be tracked further way back in development, to version 0.xxxx as a designer / game dev.
If I were a developer. I would try to give out 1 demo only, and that would be close to a finished product. But these days ARE different. Gamers (backers in this case) demand to take part of whats going on. This is why AAA game-companies gives people 1-2 days game-demo or pre-launch of the game earlier, for a bit more cash which is their main goal. When it comes to Art Play and the companies that follows IGA, it is just a matter of a thank you. The extra bonus are the feedback that comes along with it.
Another 2 demos are awesome! But I could only imagine the extra effort needed to put into these. This is why (due to timerestrictions) Angel was not sure about if we would get the E3 2017 demo, or a new one.

I also know Angel and the dev team are aware that there might be waning enthusiasm, though, and I think they've got some plans to raise it back up and hopefully restore your confidence in the game, along with everyone else's. Angel's mentioned he'll be getting a new update plan rolled out and there are good things coming down the pipe, so I think our patience may well end up rewarded
