I just realized something...well, and that something is obvious if you read the title, but you might be wondering who that is. In March/April of this year, Yamaghishi left Square-Enix, and he was a long-time producer and designer of the Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean series. The news about it hit on April 1, so I took it at first as a cruel joke, just further pushing Valkyrie Profile 3 away from me...
But it was true, and it sucked, but I apparently missed the news a short time later that the company he joined up with was Monobit. I think his chief project is a VR Japanese MMO, which sounds crazy, but I'm wondering if he could have any involvement or work at all within Bloodstained. The games he produced were some of my all time favorites, definitely VP1, so it'd be really cool to have his touch associated with it.
Monobit's involvement in Bloodstained is pretty far from the design aspects though, more of a technical role, but perhaps at least he and IGA could talk? I can't imagine he wouldn't have some good ideas or input. Just something I was thinking about.  |

probably not for bloodstained but if artplay continues to work with monobit on future games i wouldnt write off a possible collab game

You Yoshinari is working with Lab Zero as part of Studio Trigger... Lab Zero itself is essentially making a VP game... Indivisible/Bloodstained has some kind of crossover coming... VP producer working at Monobit...
ASSEMBLE THE TEAM, MAKE ALCHEMY PROFILE...-vania... feat. Yamane too! We can leave Motoi Sakuraba out if we have to. I'm not sure what he's doing right now anyway though.

So no VP3 for me that is sad.
I love VP1 very much, I played PS1 vpro1 then buy the PSP version just to support it, I never unseal the game.
I don't like VP2 because the story is like a cheap copy paste from any other JRPG out there.
