While interesting, it doesn't really deliver the Silent Hill I personally want, and neither did the demo from before. They did say it was a teaser and I believed them on that and thought the real game would be nothing like that.
Then again, I'm not really a fan of the whole series. I beat Silent Hill 3 and am too scared to play through the first, and The Room is just a chore I never plan on getting around to. Silent Hill 2 is my dawg tho. Love that one, but it was more about the story and psychological drama than the fear factor.

I can deal with The Ring stuff like the Fatal Frame series. In fact, I've seen lots of J-horror films. I've beaten games like Cry of Fear, but Silent Hill's ambient noise is too much. Freaks me out, lol. The moment I hear those monster noises, I'm like nopenopenope and run wildly. |

SH2 has alot of themes that I personally enjoyed, it wasn't about the monsters or the town itself...but the themes that it contained. Great stuff. |

I probably could only beat SH3 since my brother was basically insisting constantly that I needed to beat it. I don't really regret it... although I don't enjoy being scared, I did appreciate all the tricks they implemented to make me scared (oh god that mirror room...). I'm really into the psychology behind it more than anything. |
