- Green shard got an familiar (is that the correct name in this game still?)
- I sense that familiars are getting more aggressive as they are leveled up, no new animation / extra attacks are involved.
- Backers could choose which familiars would be in the game, since Goofball didn't make it, RIP Goofball ;(
- Area is a church with the name Dian Cecht
- Chests in hidden walls, as of yet we have only seen chests hidden. In these could be random loot perhaps (different potions, food and such)
- Traditionelly, you get a white shard beating an enemy, which means not only bosses. But since they work like passives in a way and seems to be highly useful, boss-fights would make the biggest constribution of giving you the white shards (but perhaps not exclusively)

Elfina Ashfield : yeah, they should be somehow distinct. I love the fast characters with daggers in games and other works haha I finished watching the whole thing, it is pretty nice. As I already said it's important to pinpoint what should be improved especially graphic wise, but for a game 20-30% complete? (What is that? Is it even alpha? Pre-alpha maybe?) It looks very good. Heh, maybe I am biased, I don't know, but I like what I see in this particular video. Regarding the possible boss censorship, what they said is kind of ambiguous. I sure hope IGA means visual tweaks and/or a reworked intro, because I think that the employment of some partial nudity contributes to the game's feel. It should be gothic and mature, shouldn't it? Also for me personally, the less "goofiness" and light hearted moments involved, the better, but that's my personal opinion. What I wanna get at is that the sensual/vampiric theme of the boss fits, it's not bad taste nor it looks like fanservice. I like it. That said, the boss room and even the intro mini cinematic can be vastly improved, especially the room. But heck, we don't even know if the boss is gonna appear there in the cathedral or in another area altogether. It's not easy to make precise comments in early builds, because too many things could change.

I wonder why guns and throwing swords are gone. The old demo had them, right? "Throwing swords" sounded like a silly idea to me honestly lol but I would have liked to see something of the guns. Maybe they were removed because they can result redundant with trigger shards and directional shards?

Well, those aren't all the weapon types in the game, that's just what weapons you can get in the demo. I didn't see a list of categories, just a list of what Curry acquired while he was playing.
About knives vs rapiers, I would assume that knives carry an advantage kind of like they did before, such as how being close enough would net you two hits (works for unarmed punch, baselard and combat knife in SotN for example). They could also adjust the critical rate for them, if they haven't already done something like either of these.

Heaven Sword and Rune Sword were unique and fun, but to have an ENTIRE CATEGORY of "throwing swords" yes, it felt a bit silly to me they can easily incorporate them in the sword category as unique weapons.

It's a big deal that the familiars have their own shard section. Part of what made the latter Iga game's familiars so pointless was that they took the spot of different souls so a lot of the times it was pointless to have them on. With them having their own spot they actually can always be on without sacrificing other shards being used. I'm glad they really thought all of this stuff out and/or listened to us because it'll definitely make for a better game this way. Also, throwing swords were always awesome...i'm sure them and the guns are still in it it's just not included in the demo. I really want to know what it is about the trailer that makes it look worse. This newest gameplay clip looks the best and it's a shame the footage in the trailer didn't look this sharp and nice, it would have made a better first impression.

So, I think the Bloodless design is excellent and fitting. I don't see anything offensive there. Did I miss something? I didn't see any nudity. Does she eventually lose all of her clothes if you fight her long enough? All I saw in this demo was her clothes rather strategically and tastefully materializing as she stood up from the tub. I mean, if people can't handle that, they need to find another game.

It could use a open chest animation, like kicking a chest open, also i hope white crystals have a difrent animation when you aquire them, they all use the same thing it kinda gives it a less exiting feel when getting a new ability that way.

The amount of blood, mostly on the floor and ceiling is my guess with the whole "gone overboard", but yeah, she is soaking in warm bath of blood, but that blood seems to be her own (notice her throat?), so when she is low of blood, she is weaker, up intil she can't fight anymore and fades away, like fainting from bloodloss. Ironic.. Bloodless are defeated by bloodloss.. Hah!
