for sure! Or Iga-san and Natsume-san are trolling us... a lot! xD Why'd it have to be trolling. Concept art doesn't have to be indicative of gameplay. They probably didn't even think about the implications. It might be indicative but honestly it WOULD be pretty dumb. It's like saying... I have this cool idea of giving a character two gun hands in this artwork for this game im creating, then not do that at all in the game. If you come up with a good gameplay feature with art, why wouldn't you use it? clearly you thought about it. It's like a no brainer type moment. Two whips drawn in Miriam's hand.... Should we do two handed weapons? Nahhhh... but you drew it? ..cuz it looks cool! right....so why not do it? nah

It happens all the time. Concepts are thought up, considered, tried out, even concept arted, and if they're deemed inappropriate or unfitting discarded. Even if they DID think of doing it, doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen that way. Just taking everything someone thinks is cool and putting it into the game without further consideration is the fastest way to massive feature creep, rushing to get it all done, and a buggy, unfun mess of a game. And of course some of these ideas will inevitably conflict and contradict each other.

Am I the only one who noticed that in that picture Miriam's legs are drawn REALLY far apart??? Like unnaturally far apart? Like her hips would have to be twice or maybe three times the width of her shoulders for that to be physically possible??? Yeah I noticed too, thought that was strange but ignored because the legs isn't the focus in the picture.

The only thing weird I saw is if she would bend her left knee, then it would go toward the background and not toward her (her left knee is toward us if we look at the upper shin armor)

Didn't notice but looking at them, they certainly are far apart...but I don't that's just it... the whole bottom part of her body seems blown up. kinda like her hand but that can be discounted as a camera close up looking big effect.
But not just the gap between her legs, but the size of them is also rather large, like...each leg is as wide as her waistline. I guess other people don't think that's weird, but I'm not really fond of the whole chun-li leg look =P

Granted its not the best job in the world, but remember he was doing tons of overtime crushing this art out to have new stuff for the KS when he should have been on vacation. Lets give some leeway on the early art=)

I was rewatching the end stream and I just realized something was offputting when looking at the gebel reflection on Miriam's sword
It might take some time to realise but he's absolutely the same as every other image we got of him, and not horizontally reversed like a true reflection (Also it somewhat feels as if we were Gebel but I doubt we will play as him unless in boss revenge) Does it mean it will actually have the mask on the right side of his visage (I doubt it) or is it a weird way to see the curse is growing on Miriam like Gebel? To tell that the Gebel mask is on the wrong side, just imagine what Miriam is seeing and you'll realise it's not the Gebel we have seen so far

Except for some issues, Miriam's face and the painting are beautiful in all arts, which in a rush drawing, it is also not easy to maintain. Ravenspearsame for that artwork. Little time and pressure, I think.

her hand is super-close to the camera, so it looking large doesn't look strange to me keeping that in mind... however, her legs/waist on the other hand looks really darn strage.

OoE tried balancing that out by making Shanoa's attacks cost MP, so I really wonder if they'll implement something like that for Bloodstained.
