I might play Bloodstained on my 65" HDTV. I've had it since 2012, so one might think I would want to upgrade to 4k if the game supports it, but VR is on the cusp of making a stronghold for hardcore gaming. By the time Bloodstained is out there might be a really powerful VR headset. For those who don't know, there are already apps for VR that simulate a theatre sized screen for existing 2D games and movies with various screen sizes and distance, so I will be able to simulate having a 100", 200" screen at a fraction of the cost. That's my plan: Buy a VR headset if it is good enough. What's your plan?

I'll probably play most on the Switch and move between my 73" rear-projection DLP HDTV and my wall-mounted 60" LED HDTV. I have a dock hooked up to the 60" and another dock on the way to hook up to the 73". When I play on PS4, it will be the 60" one. When I play on Steam, I use a 22" LED HD monitor.
Down the line, I think the 73" mentioned above will die first. (I've had it since 2010.) When it does, I will replace it with a 4k UHDTV of some sort (possibly curved screen). I'd like to go 80" or even 90", but the cost is just through the roof.

Redogan Yeah that's why I'm considering VR. If I bought a new tv I would also want it to be a 90". My 65" was top of the line at the time I bought it, but costs haven't scaled favorably at all with these new 4k tv's. The prices are astronomical now. I refuse to buy a 4k tv. If VR tech isn't up to my expectations in 2018, I'll just play Bloodstained on my current tv. 1080p is still really nice on a 65".

I currently game on a 1080p 60Hz 27" monitor. I may upgrade before the game comes out, but it will likely be an upgrade to 1440p/144Hz rather than in size(though maybe that too depending on what's on the market when I upgrade).

But actually I didn't even realize you could buy 90" televisions lol. That would probably be taller than my ceiling is :x
I have a pretty good Panasonic 37" that's great on input lag that I use for everything, and before much longer (probably before Bloodstained comes out), I'll get a 27" 144hz monitor. There are some sets that have decent input lag ratings in the 55"/60" range (and are 4k iirc), but not much between them and the 20-somethings, and nothing higher that's been tested afaik.

That would probably be taller than my ceiling is :x I thought 90" was the diagonal measurement of the TV which would make the actual size roughly 6 1/2 feet wide by 4 feet tall for a widescreen which is still a huge TV. I've got a 22" Samsung monitor on my desktop which I'll likely be using when playing on my PC. I've got something around 65" HD in the living room attached to the XBone which I'll be using there. Depending on how I feel when I get the PC copy I may opt to temporarily attach a PC to either that or the projector in my bedroom which is of comparable size to the main TV as I've still got my previous desktop hanging around here although haven't had any good motivation to hook it up since transitioning to my current PC. |

My switch is connected to a 32" in my bedroom so probably that.
It's an Element... a walmart special, but it works good im playing Persona 5 on it now.

I'll be playing it on my 65" Plasma TV from LG.
I'm going to wait until next year before I have any plans of buying a new 4K TV or Computer.
