I've heard Hale mentioned a few times myself, but imo it's weird how I haven't seen Michelle Ruff brought up.
Eerie true story here: I was thinking "who would be good for 'vania?" and thought of her work from VP2. I look up her credits and she's always done Shanoa and Maria. Well then, guess it makes sense that I think she fits lol.

Before I saw the picture, I would've guessed that "Veteran Voice-Actor" actually meant David Hayter. In any case, I'd still prefer Ami Koshimizu as the Japanese voice of Miriam. Shizuka Itou and Houko Kuwashima are great picks too, if you ask me. (Can't find a compilation video of Houko's voice-acting roles.  ) Anyone have a suggestion for Miriam's English voice? (Other than Jennifer Hale?) Is it the deep "power" those ladies can bring to the table? From soft to angry? Jennifer Hale was and is Leah, from Diablo III in my ears. Know she have been in many things, but anyone of these you mention are nice. I would switch between the voice actors in each playthrough. And for Alfred, perhaps Paul Nakauchi? ( listen here on the first / english version) |

Enkeria Speaking of voice-actor ideas for Alfred, in particular... It's really too bad that Chikao Ohtsuka died 2 years ago.  Here are some voice samples of that awesome man: Gol D. Roger, Dr. Weil, Dr. Eggman, Master Xehanort, and (of course) Big Boss from the MGS games. If they could find someone who could laugh like Chikao (Dr. Weil), especially if Alfred turns out to be the real villain, I'd totally love it. Extra points if he coughs after laughing. I would've suggested Akio Ohtsuka, his son, instead...but he's probably more well-known as the Japanese voice of Solid Snake (basically making him David Hayter's counterpart). ^ If you ask me, personally, Akio would be best-suited as the Japanese voice of Zangetsu.

Zangetsu is perhaps that one voice I am most curious about. I trust in Iga's choice in this. I know Mana mentioned she had a few requests on her own, so it will be cool to see (hear) the voices in an update video this year perhaps  |

I've got another idea for Alfred's Japanese voice. Maybe Yoshito Yasuhara would fit. (Also: Like Ami Koshimizu, he's already voiced a character in a past Inti-Creates game!) Yasuhara has an impressive range as well, fitting for young and old characters alike. Here's some of his roles: Juza in Fist of the North Star, Aoshi in Rurouni Kenshin, Vegapunk in One Piece, and Equuleus Celeris in Saint Seiya Omega. I believe he also voiced characters in the old Space Battleship Yamato series. |

 Castledan, where'd you hear that? Did they make another Twitter post?  The one thing I'm concerned about is David Hayter, since his voice acting was a stretch goal...I hope they're gonna get him ASAP when they start recording the English voices Facebook post, I feel like that was added in after the fact. I didn't notice that part before. It's good to hear tho! This does not seem like it's being done for mere demo purposes now. That's a good sign. |

I can't wait to know who this voice actoress is, I have always been given the impression of the lost cold and innocent teenager from Miriam, but once we get to hear her voice we will know it all.
About the pages..I'm not entirely sure if all these pages are covered with lines, but if the game is anything less than 15 hours I would be disappointed since it's going to be IGAs biggest game or at least biggest castle.

It would be interesting to see one or two of the pages to see how they organize them. I'm guessing there's a lot of empty space on them rather than being written out like a novel. I'd also think that they would contain notes on context as to where the lines appear in the game as well as hints for the voice actors so that they know what emotion the character is supposed to be feeling to better emphasize lines without as much verbal direction and re-takes.
