Warriors All-Stars is a celebration title meant to commemorate 20 years of games developed by the company. So this includes Koei games, as well as games developed by Tecmo and Gust with Koeis Merger of the former and the acquisition of the latter as a sub company within the primary company. It is a game series that uses the Warriors style gameplay and will have up to 30 playable characters from to around 10 of KT's IP's, all characters chosen are chosen due to their popularity within the KT Fandom. The game will feature multiple branching stories as well as different endings based on certain conditions. Character DLC has been hinted at for those who wish the roster expanded beyond the base 30, and a character request ballot was made for a month for those who wanted certian characters to get in if they didnt make the base game. characters released as DLC will be given their own story mode and unique character based endings. Warriors All-Stars Story: In an alternate world that relies on a miraculous spring to sustain itself. The King who could control the spring's powers suddenly perished, leaving the world in turmoil. The Queen told her daughter to summon otherworldly heroes to save their land but the attempted summoning malfunctioned and left them scattered in different areas. Eventually, other members of this royal family are deemed eligible for the throne, dividing all the heroes into three warring factions. |
Princess Tamaki: Heir to the throne with the passing of the King. After the summoning to bring heroes to her land to quell the turmoil that resulted with her fathers death she seeks to find the heroes and bring them together for her cause. |
Prince Shiki: The elder sibling of Princess Tamaki. He fully supported Tamaki inheriting the throne, but then one day turned on her. Using some of the warriors that were summoned he builds an army to combat her, however his reasons are unknown. |
Setsuna: Before Tamaki and Shiki's father was King, Setsuna's father was the King. However when he died Setsuna was too young to take the throne. With the death of his Uncle he believes it is his birthright to inherit the throne so he challenges Tamaki for the right to rule. |
Dynasty Warriors: This is a franchise whos first entry was a weapons based fighting game similar to the Soulcalibure series. However Subsequent entries in the series were off the Action Beat-em-up genre that people know of today. The series is based off the Three Kingdoms Novel which is a semi historical record of the Three Kingdoms Era of China. The majority of the playable characters in the series are re-imaginings of real people who lived during this period of time. |
Zhao Yun: The Poster Boy of the DW series, and one of the Five Tiger Generals of the Kingdom of Shu. Fierce and loyal to his kingdom he fights for the sake of all things just and right. Claiming his weapon as a Spear of Justice, he only fights for those whos cause is for the sake of helping others. |
Zhou Cang: A former member of the cult group the Yellow Turbans he joined the Kingdom of Shu after being saved by Guan Yu, a man so fierce he was labeled as China's God of War. He would become one of Guan Yus most loyal followers after this, following the God of War in every battle from this point on. |
Wang Yuanji: The wife of Sima Zhao, the founder of the Kingdom of Jin the Fourth Kingdom to rise near the end of the Three Kingdoms Era of China, defeating the Kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu. Shes portrayed as someone whos Stern and Loyal, yet still loving and kind. She goes into battle to support her husband, however she also makes sure to scold him when he messes up or makes bad decisions.
Also shes portrayed as a Tsundere in the Japanese version of the game so shes pretty much the games most popular female character. |
Lu Bu: Known as a fierce fighter, Lu Bu is a Warrior who fights for the sake of fighting strong opponents. In history he was said as to have mastered all known forms of martial arts, and was a master Archer. Feared by all his presence on the battlefield is enough to makes his enemies, and even his allies, run in fear. |
Samurai Warriors: Like how DW series is a fictional interpretation of Chinese history, SW is a fictional interpretation of the Warring states period of Japan. Again many of the characters in this series are based off real world figures. |
Yukimura Sanada: The Poster Boy of the SW series, a fierce warrior of the Sanada Clan. Every battle he stepped into , even when the odds were against him, he somehow managed to make it through from sheer force of will. In the SW series hes portrayed as a fierce warrior who fights for what he believes is right, but is also hotheaded and tends to be blind to other options outside of his own ideas. |
Mitsunari Ishida: A strategist who once served the warlord Hideyoshi Toyotomi. With the death of Hideyoshi both Mitsunari, and fellow retainer Ieyasu Tokugawa, felt they both deserved the right to inherit Hideyoshi's rule. The Toyotomi forces eventually splitting between an Eastern Faction and Western Faction. As Leader of the Western Army he fights for the sake and ideals of the people, as opposed to Ieyasu fighting for the sake of the State. The pattern visible on his war fan is 大一大万大吉 (Dai Ichi, Dai Man, Dai Kaichi) which means "One for all and all for one and Heaven bless the land". The characters are written in this fashion to "pile up" the good fortune of the message. In the real world battle between the East and West, Mitsunari's Western Army had this text on banners in hopes of inspiring their forces.
Samurai Warriors is one of the few forms of media that portrays Mitsunari Ishida in a heroic light, as his forces lose to Ieyasu he's usually portrayed as a villainous figure to put more emphasis on Ieyasu's victory over the Western Army. As such hes become one of the most popular characters in the SW series due to how hes portrayed: arrogant and stern, yet hopeful and fights for the sake of helping others. As well as making Ieyasu's victory over Mitsunari a bittersweet one as while the two often clashed due to differing ideals they still held each other in high regard. |
Naotora Ii: One of the few japanese women of her era to ever hold the title of Lord until passing it onto her son. Naotora is portrayed as a strong woman who doubts her abilities. She tries to live by her family motto of never backing down under any circumstance. Shes portrayed as a woman with good fighting skills, yet she does not like to fight. Unlike the other women of the Warriors series who fight because they chose too, Naotora is depicted as a woman whos got natural talent but is scared, only fighting because she has no choice as she was the only member of her family to inherit the title of Lord after her fathers death.
Naotora is physically based off of the Japanese actress Satomi Ishihara, who KoeiTecmo Chief Producer and Developer Hisashi Koinuma is noted to be a fan of. |
Toukiden: KoeiTecmo's take on the Monster hunting genre. Set in a fictional ancient Japan, players create avatars and team up with demon hunters called Slayers. It is a Slayers job to prevent the overall populace from learning of the existence of demons, and so Slayer Villages are hidden through out japan. You Hunt down monsters based off of japanese legends and folk tales, and its your job to make people think they are just that: legends and folktales. The avatar has access to multiple weapon styles, as well as NPC party members who can join the player in Hunts that specialize in said play styles. |
Ōka: .A Slayer who specializes in the Long Sword style, Ōka is the elder sister and body guard of the shrine priestess of her village. It is her sisters duty to use magic to locate demons for slayers to find and kill, as such shes often the target of powerful demons to keep their forces hidden. Brave, courageous, stern, she is diligent in her desire to protect those who can not protect them selves from the demon menace. Raised with the mentality of traditional samurai, in the Japanese script of the game Ōka speaks using masculine terms and phrases which often throws off many people who meet her at first. She refuses to acknowledge her natural feminine beauty and tends to get angry at people who give her compliments regarding said beauty. |
Horō: A young woman gifted with excellent marksmanship, she wandered into a Slayer village one day with sever amnesia, knowing only her name and knowledge of her combat skills. She joins the Slayers in their fight against the demons to learn who she is and why she can do the things she can do. She speaks with dialect associated with modern era Japan rather than that of the era she is in, and tends to use large words, phrases, and terms that have yet to be invented by their time. She is also a lover of food and enjoys partaking in vast amounts of new foods when given the opportunity. |
Tokitsugu: A Slayer who was slain by a demon, but saved by an Alchemist named Doctor. His soul now residing within an automation he continues the act of slaying demons for the protection of humanity. Despite his new body's small form, he is a heroic and noble warrior who fights for the sake of watching over others. Described as a 'Big Brother' figure he looks out for all fellow hunters and is not above scolding those who are bigger than him. His diminutive size hides incredible strength, both physical and emotional, and many other Slayers look up to him for guidance and protection when things get too intense for them. |
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de: Direct translation bing "Within a Distant Time" is a time traveling visual novel RPG series created by the Ruby Party sub branch of Koei. It is considered an Otohime series as the main player characters are always female, and those her join her party are all male who can be pursued as love interests. Much like SW the games are loosely tied to Japanese History so many party members the player can acquire are both original to the game as well as based on real historical figures. Should the player decide to pursue historical figures as love interests certain parts of their romance is done so it can fit with the history of said character.
The games has so far been a Japan exclusive series. |
Hajime Arima: A secondary main character after the protagonist in the 6th entry of the series, hes strong willed and determined young man who tries to persevere even through the hardest obstacles in life. A stern military-man, he has a rough and strict outer wall to his personality and it is difficult to get passed it, but inside is a kind and loving soul who wishes to do what is needed for those who can not help them selves. |
Darius: The leader of the Demon Clan Darius is a charming, suave gentleman who fights for the sake of his people. Despite his association to Darkness he is kind and benevolent to any who wander through his kingdom so long as you do not harm his subjects. He starts out as an enemy within the 6th entry of the series but then later joins the party when the conflict is resolved peacefully. He is one of the sweeter romantic options to the games female protagonist and should you beat the game after having romanced him he will sing a lovely song for the games leading lady during the credit sequence~ |
Dead or Alive: A 3D fighting game series created by Tecmo, the games follow the story of a Kunoichi who left her village to save her brother who was captured by a company known as Doatec. After she managed to rescue him she ends up being captured and had her genetic make up cloned and enhanced, the company wished to use this to create super soldiers for some reason. I honestly don't know much about the franchise my self so this is really all I can tell you. |
Kasumi: Kasumi was heir to her clan after her brother went missing, but she refused to leave him in the hands of his kidnappers so she went against the rules of her clan and left the village to find him. Despite managing to save him and bring him home she was considered a traitor to her clan and was chased out of her village and continuously hunted down so as to execute her for her 'crime' of leaving the village. A king and loving soul she values the lives of others and despite being a skilled ninja, she wishes to not have to fight anyone. Her many years of running from assassins sent by her village has made her become wary and nervous around others, preferring to keep to her self. Even after the order for her assassination was withdrawn after the destruction of Doatec Labs, she refused to return to her village even though they said she could. She now wanders the world trying to find meaning to her life now that she no longer has to live on the run. |
Marie Rose: Marie is the body guard and maid of Helena Douglass, the woman who inherited the Doatec Company after the death of her father. As Helena works to clean up the mess caused by her father, and improve the companies new image, Marie stays by her side. She has an intense fondness of all things gothic, horror, and dark, her interests and hobbies are a strong contrast to her cute appearance and sweet personality. A practitioner of the martial arts style Systema, a fighting style coined by the Russian Spetsnaz, she specializes in joint strikes combined with fast and hard attacks. |
Honoka: Honoka exists within the DoA series for the sake of filling a niche they had not yet filled: The Air Head Oppai School Girl Character. She has no form of character development outside of this. So its easy to see why shes considered popular enough, to the Japanese fan base, to get into this game despite not having existed for all that long. She possesses a special glove that allows her to copy the fighting styles of anyone she sees, so shes meant to be the Mimic Fighter of the DoA franchise. |
Ninja Gaiden: An Adventure Hack and Slash series created by Tecmo back in the SNES days, you follow the story of the Leader of the Dragon Ninja clan. Even in Modern Day his village lives and practices with Ancient Japanese Traditions. It is up to the leader of this clan to keep the balance of the magical and the modern, while keeping things such as demons a secret if he can. The game series is known for being incredibly difficult and punishing for players. |
Ryu Hayabusa: Leader of the Dragon Clan, using a magic sword carved from the tail of a dragon demon, his clan fights for the sake of protecting the planet from the demon realm. With his clan being descended from humans who copulated with Dragon Demons he has immense levels of power and speed, which is amplified while using his clans sacred treasure the Dragon Sword. A blade said to curse anyone who wields it if they do not carry the blood of their clan. Even though he is the main character of the NG series he also plays a large role in the DoA series as a formor mentor, and bodyguard, of Kasumi. While Kasumi was on the run from being assassinated Ryu was tasked with protecting Kasumi from the shadows, as per ordered by Kasumi's brother Hayate. |
Ayane: The younger half sister/cousin of Kasumi, she was the bastard baby of Kasumi's uncle raping her mother. So despite being both half sisters and cousins, neither girls knew this growing up. While Kasumi was the 'Princess' of the village Ayane was considered the most hated figure. Despite the fact her mother still loved her Ayane was sent to be trained in another village when she was old enough, causing her and Kasumi to drift apart despite being really close when younger. When Kasumi was marked as a traitor Ayane jumped at the chance to be the one to kill her as she had grown to disdain her half sister due to the love Kasumi got growing up, while all she got was resentment and hatred. After the assassination on Kasumi was called off Ayane eventually calmed down and came to realize she still cared for her half-sister. She now functions as an ally for both Kasumi's clan and Ryu's clan, willing to help both when ever she can. She sees Ryu as a mentor and older brother figure and will always help him when ever possible. |
Deception: An action puzzle game series developed by Tecmo. You play as a character who is capable of setting traps designed to kill enemies. Wandering around on a grid within a secluded area you set traps that either send enemies flying, sliding, spinning, or falling into other traps that can impale, crush, or sever the bodies of their enemies. Despite the description of the series sounding rather dark, its actually rather campy and the voices are, usually, done in a comedic style in order to keep the games from becoming too morbid. Each game stars a new character following an all new plot-line, though some times characters from older series will appear in newer entries. |
Millennia: Millennia was stolen from her home at a young age by the Timenoids, a race of immortal beings, for the sake of the Marionette Project, a plan designed to grant human beings the ability to kill humans with Traps. Timenoids consider humans an inferior species and wished to have them all killed off, yet they do not wish to stain their hands of human blood as the act of killing a human would be the lowest of the low (like being homeless and begging for money). So Millennia was the first human they took for this experiment as if it was successful they could teach other humans to do the killing for them. When humanity is wiped out they can simply have these enhanced humans kill each other allowing the Timenoids to rule the earth them selves. Millennia was raised to protect the castle of the Keeper of Timenoids, killing any human being who dared to enter the castles front doors. Though a series of visits from certain humans would cause her to question her existence, and her role, and have her adventure to find the truth about her self. |
Laegrinna: The Daughter of the Devil, how she came to be is unknown, however she contains traits often associated more so with humans than demons. After managing to escape through a seal preventing demons from entering a human world she sets out on a journey to set her father free from his imprisonment. As she travels the world she ends up performing two actions that contradict one another: killing corrupt beings and helping humanity while simultaneously looking for a holy relic to allow the Devil to be freed so he may reign over the human world. She lacks any and all forms of emotion and never has any issue with killing, regardless of who or what they are. |
Atelier: An RPG series developed by Gust, one of the major aspects of the game is that each main character is an Alchemist. A major drawing point is being able to gether various items from towns and open fields and use them ito craft any item you can think of while progressing the story. Much like the Final Fantasy series each game in the franchise stars an all new character while set in an all new world and some characters will share names with a character from a past installment. Some times characters from previous games are able to appear in newer games as either older versions, or even younger versions, of them selves. |
Sophie Neuenmuller: Sophie comes from a long line of well known alchemists and wishes to achieve the same level of greatness her Grandmother had. After the death of her parents she studied under her grandmother, and then after her passing Sophie is left to develop her skills on her own. As she travels she comes across an enchanted alchemy book which calls it self Plachta and together they hone Sophie's alchemy skills so she can become the best in the land. As time passes she gains the magic ability to hear the wishes of alchemy items, what it is they dream to be used for to make. She makes it a new life's goal that, alongside becoming a great alchemist, she grants the wish of every alchemy ingredient she finds. |
Plachta: The spirit that lives within Sophies Alchemy Book, Plachta is capable of bending reality and creating weapons out of thin air. From giant swords, to floating fists, to spinning scythes, shes a fierce contender in battle. She has a wealth of knowledge that she is able to share with Sophie to help her develop her skills as an alchemist. However after being granted a physical form via a doll that Sophie had she lost certain parts of her memories and so she now has to regain them with the help of Sophie. The two working together to accomplish their goals, and each others, while also helping their home land in the process. |
Nights of Azure: An Action RPG by Gust, after a grueling war between humanity and demons, the Demon King was slain however at a terrible price: with his death the demon kings body was destroy and his blood spilled everywhere, and those who came in contact with it would become part human and part demon. Those who were turned into these half breed beings, called Jayou, are granted powerful demonic abilities. |
Arnice : A former holy night, after coming in contact with the blood of the Dark Prince she became a Jayou with the power to manipulate her own blood. With this power she can use her blood to make weapons, and even take the blood of others for new powers and abilities. A loving and passionate woman who will do what ever it takes to protect humanity even after being tainted by the darkness. |
Christophoros: A Demonic Ghost like figure who lives within an opera house, she uses her magic baton to conduct those who listen into a permanent sleep, and then death. She acts as Arnice's advisor whenever she comes to visit her and has a wealthy knowledge of many things. Her reasons for willingly help Arnice are unclear, but she continues to aid her when ever sought out too for help. |
Samurai Cats: Do you like Strategy Games? Do you like Japanese History? Do you Love Cats? If you anwsered yes to all three of these questions then you're in luck, Samurai Cats is the game for you! A free browser game available for PC's and Mobile devices, players partake in strategic battles set in a kittyfied Warring States era of Japan. All the characters are cats, have cat pun themed names, and, well, are just adorable as hecky. The series had a temporary run in the West, however the series did so poorly that the western services of the series ended 3 months after it started, yet still continues to be one of KT's biggest mobile games to date in Japan. It's gotten so popular that the series poster character has slowly become the official mascot for KoeiTecmo, similar to how Mario is the Mascot to Nintendo. |
Nobunyaga Oda: Behold the fearsome Japanese Warlord Nobunaga Oda, unifyer of japan, known for being a sadistic, cold blooded, manipulative, merciless killer. Only in kitty form! Yes Nobunyaga is here to capture your family into forced servitude all while batting those adorable big yellow eyes. Whats that, you do not like your new kitty overlord? Well I bet if he lets you pet him you'll have second thoughts as you hear the satisfied purring of your new master. Now go fetch him some mice, or some fish, and let your new master curl up on your lap and keep you trapped on the couch watching but japanese TV dramas. Whats that, you want to change the channel? Oh no the remote is on the other end of the couch, guess your stuck because moving would wake up Nobunyaga ... and we wouldn't want that now would we? |
Opoona: an RPG title Koei released on the Wii back before its merger with Tecmo. The game had the tragedy of being released on the exact same day as Mario Galaxy. Koei had thought that since they were different Genres it wouldn't effect Opoonas sales. It did. And because of this the game failed horribly, Koei officials going on record stating that it was a huge oversight on their part and would work towards never letting it happen again. |
Opoona: A young alien boy who's on vacation with his family when their ship is attacked. After being rushed to an escape pod with his sister and best friend, the three crash land on an unfamiliar planet and must work together to get off the planet, find their parents, and learn why they were attacked. By using his bonbon, the floating orb behind his head, hes able to attack his enemies with energy blasts and force shields. |
Nioh: A game first announced by Koei back in 2004, what was constant Development Hell from then to its release in 2017 was a well received and loved game similar in the vein of the Dark Soul series. Staring historical figure William Adams, the game follows the Irishman as he travels to japan to save his beloved guardian spirit since childhood Saorise from the black wizard Edward Kelly. Upon getting to japan he finds it over run with demonic spirits. Teaming up with famed warlord Ieyasu Tokugawa he helps quell the turmoil of japan while seeking out Edward to save Saorise. |
William Adams: In the game hes an Irishman, however in history William Adams was a English Sailor who served Queen of England who went to Japan for the sake of trading goods. However after a perilous journey to Japan many of the trading ships were lost, and when they arrived to Japan he and his crew were mistaken for Pirates by Portuguese Missionaries who were docked in Japans trading ports.
Eventually he and his crew were released upon realizing the error of the Missionaries after a period of time he was eventually approached by Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa to be commissioned to build a Western-style ship on Izu Peninsula. Despite his lack of knowledge of carpentry the boat was a success, and William was asked to make more. Over time as reward for his hard work he, and his men, were given the rights to live in high quality homes built in the capital, though many would eventually leave for England instead. William him self wanted to return to England to his wife and two daughters, however Ieyasu valued his skills as a sailor, navigator, and boat craftsman to allow him to leave so he was forbade to leave. To make up for this Ieyasu allowed him to marry one of the ladies of the Tokugawa Court, who would bare him a son and daughter. His love for his old family never diminished though, ensuring money was always sent to his wife and daughters in England for the rest of his days.
Eventually he would gain the Japanese name of Miura Anjin and would live out the rest of his days in Japan. Upon his death his grave was erected in Hirado, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan where it still stands to this day. |
Super Black Jack series / Rio Rainbow Gate: A gamble themed series created by Tecmo. Rio Tachibana started off as simply an avatar for a gambling game that took off so well it had many sequels on multiple platforms, a series of pachinko machines all across japan, and even got an anime spin off series. |
Rio Tachibana: A young Japanese American Black Jack Dealer from Las Vegas, Rio is all about the luck of the draw. She loves the thrill that gambling can bring and even when faced with a loss, she always bounces right back to keep on going. Possessing a special kind of magic she can enrich the lives of people who win at the games she deals with. Rather than using her powers to help people win, or make others lose, she uses it to make it so the prizes people gain aren't just wealth based. Lady Luck be with you the night you come across Rio on the Las Vegas gambling circuit! |

Great article! Koei Tecmo is basically pulling the all-stars card and they're putting old franchises back to the limelight... Deception is a series where you lay traps to kill trespassers at all costs. Truly special. Oh and of course, KT will aim for shameless paid DLC tactics. They're widely known for that, character crossovers as well as their advanced way of focusing on fanservice.
Btw, it's DOATEC, as in DoA and Tecmo... silly acronym, yet it works. Dead or Alive is a good series besides the blatant fanservice and outrageous pile of DLC. Seemingly very tactical, but you can do fine with mashing buttons and win in the 5th entry.
And then, Chinese and Japanese soldiers simultaneously summoned in the same world and probably working together? Quite a feat that little foxgirl performed.
Oh and thanks for your hard work.

It always energizes me (and makes me nostalgic) when I hear a remix of the original NES Ninja Gaiden Stage 4-2 music, Unbreakable Determination. I look forward to hearing the full version of that track for the game.
Hopefully it's significantly different from the version that served as Ryu's Warriors Orochi 3 theme:

Very well written and organized, Ixbran!
I actually voted in that ballot you mentioned. Had to go elsewhere to find the names of my characters written in Japanese. Following the advice of Youtuber OhhhhMyJosh, I assumed that entries comprised of English text would likely be ignored.
My votes went to Joan of Arc (Bladestorm), Gwen (Toukiden), and Lu Lingqi (Dynasty Warriors).
With how Musou Stars allows for 5 person teams (though you only control one directly), I think my team would be...
Hajime(as the character I directly control)/Tokitsugu/Sophie/Nobuyanga/Naotora.
Replace Hajime with William Adams from Nioh if he gets in. Replace Sophie with Joan of Arc from Bladestorm if she gets in.

This whole thing technically took me two days to do, it took forever, and i had to use a word pad document to keep the coding aligned and looking neat because going back and forth between checking the preview to see if it looks nice, and then going back to the coding page resulted in it all being 'smooshed' together which made going back to edit and change things really difficult.
Edit1: Gameplay videos for Tokitsugu, Ayane, Arnice, and Christophoros were uploaded to the official youtube account, so my first post has been updated
Edit2:Videos for Zhou Cang, Naotora Ii, and Plachta have been added.
Edit2:Videos for Lu Bu, Arima, Laegrinna, and Opoona released.
Now all we need to do is wait for the announcement of the final 30th playable character.

William Adams from Nioh would be a logical choice for the 30th character, he'd also make for some nice cross promotion, considering that Nioh is such a recent release and it's all over gaming websites right now.

You will be happy o know that, yes, thats who was announced. KoeiTecmo recently had a live stream event focousing around Nioh and then surprised everyone with an announcement of his inclusion. There was his official trailer, and then a short game play segment of him in New York, from Ninja Gaiden, acompanied by Kasumi, Marie, Honoka, and Laegrinna as bodyguards. William still retains the unique feature of having an english voice actor despite the rest of the cast speaking only japanese. And now the special edition Bath House Poster previews are complete.

Hehe, I came here right after I saw that Koei Tecmo's Japanese Youtube account (I'm subscribed to it) posted his trailer.
So then, that's all 30 characters. Now I just cross my fingers for a possible Western release. Just hope there can be an English dub, we haven't had an English dubbed Warriors game in quite some time.

So, while reading the Koei wiki, I came across this line.
Characters are automatically assigned based on their IP to one of the three factions: Tamaki, Setsuna, or Shiki.
Do we know at this time which IPs serve which royal?

Tamaki has been seen with the DW Cast, Setsuna has been shown in screen shots interacting with Nobunyaga, as well as the girls from Deception. Shiki has been shown working exclusively with the handsome male characters, the dudes from Haruka and Mitsunari. This line is obviously false and im going to go fix that.

Okay so anyone who knows me I'm a bit of a Nintendo Fan Boy. One of the things I love about Nintendo is how they can put parts of their IP's in 3rd Party Games, like the Nintendo Costumes in Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2. Being able to play multi platform games on Nintendo consoles with these bonuses always makes it feel like owning the Nintendo version of the game was always the better one. As a huge supporter of the Nintendo Switch, I am really hoping for a Switch port of Musou stars. So, out of sheer boredom, I went and made these. The box art here is based off the official PS4 Boxart for the game. With the FF series co-owned by Nintendo this would be the only way a rep from that franchise from that game could get in, so I figured fans wouldnt be opposed to Yuris inclusion. Jean is from a series that started on the Nintendo 64, but moved onto other consoles after. But I'm including Jean because of his series starting out on the console, as well as being the Nintendo 64's only Koei title ever made. Takamaru, from Nintendo's Murasame Castle, was a bonus playable character on the Wii version of SW3. Which also featured an exclusive mode which was essentially a 3D remake of the original Murasame Castle game. All the other characters are from games created by KoeiTecmo in collaboration with Nintendo.

Got some new info about the game from the latest issues of Famitsu. We have our first major NPC announced. Saya, the mother of Tamaki and Shiki, and the Aunt of Setsuna. she sides with her daughter during the upcoming War to offer motherly advice and comfort to the young Tamaki. We also now have the full lists of which Warriors will be fighting under which Royal. The scan that showed us Saya also showed us the following: Tamaki's Forces | Shiki's Forces | Setsuna's Forces | | | |
