Bloodstained's Interesting Facts

Here are some interesting facts from the various interviews and such about...you guessed it, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

-While Deep Silver's parent company trademarked the name Bloodstained, the IP itself belongs to Iga.  Gamasutra


-During the final live stream, IGA created a new boss named Bismarck Kappa III. While he may not be in the game, it was entertaining to watch.  Check the 48:00 mark

-The KS smashed its $500k goal in four hours, while IGA and crew only expected to make $800k-$1m. Obviously we blew that away. Check 5:56

-Certain game aspects IGA plans to avoid are a combo system, overly long and precise death jumps, and enemies/bosses that intentionally slow down the speed/progression of the game.  These are said in various threads, but we'll kick it back to the same Gamasutra at the end of the interview.

-IGA and Ben Judd went to countless traditional publishers to get this game created and were surprisingly turned down. Well that seems like a mistake now.  (I would link this, but if you haven't read this yet, then you probably haven't read a single thing, so i suggest looking in the link thread)

-Many Japanese voice actors are not allowed to work on crowd funded games. (Sad fact given by Ben Judd in the KS comments.) You'd have to scroll and search, but the date he said it is June 5.

-The current plan for Bloodstained beta release is by E3 2016, although not guaranteed.  Gamespot E3 Check 12:40 

-Confirmed In-game features (shameless plug of a thread I made, although with the game early in production there is always a possibility to change.)
