I know that the Valmanway (4 slashes in 1 button press; lets you move while attacking) is described to mean "Blessed Wind" in all of the Castlevania games it appears in, with the possible exception being SotN...but I'd like to know whether this is completely made-up or perhaps real words. I've been trying to find a translation for "blessed wind" in several different languages already, but to no avail.  |

might be a difficult search, depending on synonyms  i mean, blessed could mean "of heaven", so you'd have to look up Heaven's wind, Heaven's breath, etc. Short of getting an answer directly from, say, IGA, i'd just chalk it up to someone having dreamed it up. |

Update: Okay, so now @jeffcross has aided me in further finding out the meaning of the word "Valmanway".
I found on the Castlevania Dungeon forums that it may come from the fictional Elvish language (or "Quenya") from Lord of the Rings...just like "Crissaegrim", and other names for weapons in SotN (among other games in the series).
(EDIT): Still waiting for Ben Judd to respond, and officially clear this up.
