So as I am a relatively new user to Steam this is has been the first summer sale I've been through. So just out of curiosity for the other Steam users here on the forums, what deals did you all partake in this time around? I had a LOT of older games that I needed to "catch up" on so I kinda went a little crazy when I started seeing them for $2, $3, and $5. So I'll start. Here's my haul... Axiom Verge + Soundtrack BioShock BioShock 2 BioShock Infinite (franchise deal) Castlevania LoS Castlevania LoS 2 + DLC Castlevania LoS: Mirror of Fate (They had all three for next to nothing.) Child of Light Darkest Dungeon Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition Deus Ex: Invisible War Deus Ex: Human Revolution Deus Ex: The Fall (Again they had a really cheep price on the whole deal) Dungeon of the Endless Dust: An Elysian Tail (I already had it on my XB360 but I wanted to see it played on a PC in full HD ) Fallout Fallout 2 Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition Fallout New Vegas + DLC (Another franchise deal) Guacamelee! Gold Edition Metro 2033 Redux Metro: Last Light Redux (have this on my XB360 too, but I didn't get the good ending and again I'd like to see it rendered better) Portal (ya.... I know.... should have played this one a LONG time ago... but life ya know?) Portal 2 Project Zomboid Wolfenstein 3D (Part of WolfPack - A special deal they were running) Return To Castle Wolfenstein (Part of WolfPack - A special deal they were running) Wolfenstein 3D: Spear Of Destiny (Part of WolfPack - A special deal they were running) Wolfenstein: The New Order Rouge Legacy Shadowrun Returns Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Directors cut Shovel Knight Transistor + Soundtrack UNEpic Unreal Gold Unreal II: The Awakening Unreal Tournament: Game of the year edition Unreal Tournament 2004 Unreal Tournament 3: Black Edition (They had the Unreal games as a single pack for I believe it was $10) So ya... That's what I landed. Who else got what?

Man, control yourself, if you spend that amount of money everytime in a Steam Sale, you'll declare bankruptcy in the end of the year.
Anyway, as I am "poor" and had already spent (or "have already spent"? Grammar kills me) 60$ on Bloodstained, I got nothing on this sale. Well, only some DLCs for Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2.

I haven't been much of a pc gamer the past few years either, but after i pulled a similar stunt on GOG's sale a couple days ago, and having found the XInput wrapper, i'll probably be playing more PC games since even my 6 year old PoS netbook has HDMI output so i can push it to my TV. though i will need a new computer so i can play more graphically intensive games at some point.

Damn! That's a lot of games. I only purchased 3 games this time around: Morrowind (which is actually really captivating), Rainbow Six 3, and Shovel Knight.

Hah, I didn't spend ANYTHING during this Steam summer sale. Kickstarter already drained my wallet enough. Plus, I want to start buying more games on GOG when I get the chance.

I have castle crashers on my ps3, and played it enough. It was fun while it lasted but I'm kind at the need to be in the mood for it specifically to enjoy it phase now. Frozen synapse did look interesting to me, but last time I was in the mood for it it wasn't on sale and was too pricy for my tastes (Not saying that they ask for too much, just that my own wallet is limited and I simply wait for really good deals instead of just good ones).
Anyway, I have a reasonable library on steam, and I play most of everything on there. I'm always excited during sales, and I normally always benefit from them, but I'm not one of those people who buy like 30 games during a sale, normally only 2-3. This time I bought Age of wonders 3 because I like AoW and it's hard to say no to -75% to a game I know I'll love. Prison architect because it looked interesting and fact is I'll likely never see a greater deal than -85% off, and I tried xenonauts, but used steam's new refund policy on it because the game didn't really work well for me. My problem was I could walk into a new room or open area and the black 'you can't see this area yet' paint wouldn't display the room still even when I was literally INSIDE the area, and not just around the corner or behind the door. Happened to me 3 times in like 40 minutes so I said screw it, this game doesn't wanna work for me I quit.. and it is like version 1.6 or something IIRC, it should have been fixed by like 0.8, so nope, refund =P
