First off I'd like to admit fully and completely that I need to do some more research on this matter, and I don't wish faliure on anyone, I hope Shenmue 3 is a great game and all the fans enjoy it, I only played the original like 12 mins and I was never very intreasted in it myself, but thats me. I just wanted to get everyones thoughts on a matter.
The question I have.... if Shenmue 3 was showed off at E3 it obviously already has some finacial backing and corperate support, IGA went to Kickstarter cause he needed the public to speak with there wallets and support him now that he's independent, and needed us to prove that we really wanted this game... but if a company's already throwing the publicity and advertising money to show it off at E3.... what do they need public support for? To me that seems like they want us to give them money to make the game cheaper for them to make. I mean I don't think that the next time IGA wants to make a game that he's gonna come to kickstarter or something similer again cause we support him by buying his products not paying him to make his product.
