creators of the unreal engine are announcing that the next update to the engine is being done with the Nintendo Switch in mind. This update is specifically designed to help 3rd party developers port pre-existing games with the Unreal Engine to the Nintendo Switch, as well as help with future games with said engine on the console.

I think at this point, my biggest concern with the Switch is whether or not it'll have HDCP. HDCP is content protection, and if the Switch has it I won't be able to record it with my Elgato capture software.
The Wii U didn't have HDCP, so I think there's probably nothing to worry about.

the nintendo switch comes with a Capture Button thats designed for taking screen shots, and in later updates will be able to record and store gameplay on your micro sd card on the system, which youll likely be able to upload directly from the Switch to YouTube.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say no it won't. Though probably not for the reasons you are thinking, Nintendo is usually extremely reluctant and even jumps through hoops to avoid licencing anything. They don't like paying licencing fees. |

its actually more a question of will their user agreement essentially force you to say that anything taken using the capture button is nintendo property and screw over youtubers and twitchers for their money, if theyre still doing that backward policy i can see it biting them hard when people find out

Switch is almost here XD got to love it... so, question; do you guys know the switch "click" sound? Well, the Nintendo switch will have that actual sound coming from the switch when you pop on the joy-cons... I know not big news but I think it is an awesome touch to the system.

I know I said keep negative stuff out of this thread... but that only has to do with people being negative for trolling reasons. if you are concerned about something... this is the place to talk about it. Like the joycon connection problems... the "bad launch lineup" I think it's ok but others don't and I appreciate that opinion... anyways we have a week to go and I know many of you are hyped so let's talk.

chances are the desync problem will be fixed with a patch, they either set the power draw too low to save battery and its cutting the range too low before it starts having intermittant signal, or they set the channel to one that everything else uses so its easy to muddle the signal

Hey guys, normally I have link sources to my info but this time I do not. I was browsing Tumblr last night and saw a photo of a Twitter post and I can't remember on what blog, or who the Twitter user was so if someone else could find it to back this up would be cool
But apparently the Nintendo Switch has this unique feature that if the system dies from loss of power the system will go into a temporary sleep mode, save your game, then power down. This way you won't have to worry about losing progress because of a dead battery.

Couldn't watch the stream/video, but from what I've seen, no word on Bloodstained.
They do talk about Blaster Master Zero (an Inti Creates game) being released on 3/9 for 3DS and Switch, though. That looks pretty cool
Several other, more predictable or known mentions as well. Shovel Knight, Stardew, Hollow Knight, Steamworld Dig 2, etc

Before we get an announcement for a NX version of Bloodstained, I'm guessing Iga and team will want our opinion on the subject beforehand. What he does with that info is up to them but they don't want to skip important steps.

Yeah, IntiCreates being listed previously had me thinking Bloodstained was their game, but now with Blaster Master Zero listed there's less reason to believe Bloodstained is going to the Switch. What's 505 Games Switch game?
It would have made sense that if Bloodstained was planning on switching, this would have been the time to announce it if Nintendo was the one keeping IGA quiet.
