The Switch Direct just showed up in my Youtube Subscriptions.
Obviously it's not starting until the 12th of this month. (8PM Pacific Time, 10PM Central Time, and 11 PM Eastern Time) But you do have the opportunity to use Youtube's Set Reminder feature.
Hoping to see a lot of that leak, such as Versus Dissidia or Tekken 7 coming to the Switch, get confirmed in the Direct.

Some small part of me is really hoping to see a new Super Smash Bros. game in the works... Unless that was part of the leak posted here. The posted leak claimed that the Switch will have 'Super Smash Bros. Fusion'. It will have all the features of both the Wii U and 3DS versions, and it will have three new characters, one of which will be the Ice Climbers.
If true, my hopes for the other two characters is Inkling from Splatoon, and Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X.

the usb-c means itll have fast charging up to 70-80% in roughly 20-30 mins, so even if the battery is 3 hrs somehow (remember every time the 3 hrs rumor has been mentioned its in context of running undocked max specs, recommended spec runtime is likely longer than that) and thats uninterrupted unplugged gametime, nintendo is likely to have a low power option to pause the game, savestates, or sleep mode to make sure if you are caught with no way to recharge you wont lose anything and sleep/streetpass mode will probably last a long time like 3ds

One thing I find has become super useful is portable chargers. its like a mini battery that you keep in your pocket. you charge it at home like you would a cell phone or a 3DS, and then you plug other things into it to charge them while your out and about. If you have a portable charger on you with multiple storage batteries on it for multiple recharges, you should be fine. Ever since I got my portable charger I've never had my phone or 3DS die on me while out in public.
If people were to buy these things when they buy a switch, or even before hand, it would really help with preserving the Switch's batterylife. Especially if it uses USB style charger cords.

the controller looks to be, unsure if the fight pad is but would guess yes because fighting game players, will still consider this a rumor though until theres some kind of confirmation these are official, i find it wierd one pic and the cover page has a watermark and is english but the rest are in french, though given hori makes the wired pooken controller and smash themed gamcube controllers for wiiu it wouldnt surprise me if this rumor is actually true neogaf thread source with more pics |

The presentation is tomorrow!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! For those of you who don't know, there's different sites covering the same event. The official site, their twitch channel, and the one I'll be watching... the youtube channel (this youtube link was all thanks to Scuttlest so thank him for that info). also for those who live in New York, there is a gamestop that has said their pre-orders start on January 19th at 9 pm. I don't know if we can see this as all gamestops will do this or just that store... so if anyone knows anything please keep us informed. thank you |
