OMG!! World premiere!  Michiru Yamane will perform live for the first time the soundtrack of "Bloodstained" during the Pixelatl Festival, on Wednesday, September 7th 2016, at 20:30 hrs. This festival takes place in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Just to be clear, to those who don't know, she's not playing the entire soundtrack - just a few songs from it (four in total). I assume she might play others songs too but they wouldn't be Bloodstained related necessarily.

I'm curious if they will be never-before-heard-outside-of-Inticreates songs or renditions of songs we've already heard (which would at least be four songs or more). I'd think they would want to maximize hype and go for the former but I guess we'll have to wait and see. |

Well, if she's playing her own music composed for Bloodstained and not pieces composed by other contributors, I'd imagine at least one song will be new. There are indeed more than four pieces known between the campaign previews and the demo tracks, but I doubt more than three total were composed by Yamane-san herself. And yeah, add me to the "someone stream this thing for me PLEASE" list. |

Oh man. Now we're talking. I like this the most out of what we heard so far. It's like a SOTN mixed with Lament of innocence sound. Very gothic, very 1700s. Thanks!!

OK..I have to calm down! I have just found there is really good quality recording of a concert by Yamane-san in Monterrey, Mexico that she had in 2014! Previously I had only seen low quality recordings.
In anticipation of the same quality of yesterday`s concert with music from Bloodstained, enjoy this beautiful performance:

That theme sounds like the church theme or possibly the Library. It'd work great for either.
Edit: watching the above performances just shows me how much better SOTN's soundtrack was to what came after. I love all her music but those SOTN tracks really stand the hell out. They just feel like a famous 1700's composer did them, that's how good they are. The library theme and chapel theme in particular. While a lot of her castlevania music post SOTN had a very modern feel, they distinctly feel 1700's in style, of course there are some outliers to that but....there's a lot of classical sounding music in that soundtrack.
