I wonder if we'll need such a strong/powerful computer to play Bloodstained... I'm doubting it but I could be wrong Well personally I at LEAST need a new graphics card. I mean my current specs are: i7-4770K @ 3.5GHz w/Corsair H100 Water cooler (Just haven't gotten around to playing with over clocking) 32GB RAM Asus Z87 Sabertooth MB Samasung 256GB SSD 1TB Seagate Hybrid Solid State HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 <~~~~ THIS NEEDS TO GO! _ghost Soooo... ya... I don't care how smooth they make it. When the above rig is occasionally choking on SHOVEL KNIGHT!!!!.... I think I'd be best doing some upgrading before Bloodstained comes out.  that's funny your computer is awesome (better then mine) except the graphics card lol... once you get a better card you'll have a kick-ass computer XD |

Well I got the card for like $25 from a guy I know. I figured that it'd be better than the on board video from the MB or the processor.
Maybe I was wrong?

I'm still rocking my gtx 275 from a decade ago and I paid full price. You're fine =) ... Though now I am feeling the urge to build a new machine. Hmmmm. |

I have an i3 330M laptop with the first gen (!) Intel HD graphics, it is easy to find out it won't run Bloodstained since it can barely run No.9 at minimal settings. While a GTX 960 is fairly cheap outside, here on Brazil we have huge import taxes and high dollar value, a GTX 960 for us means like ~120% of our minimum wage, people from USA, CAN, Europe and stuff probably don't get how hard is to get hardware on places like latin america.
I am about to buy a PC with FX-6300 + R7 260x, all ready for a future upgrade, that's the best i can do for now. This system has the best performance/price as i were checking benchmark, comparison and stuff for the last months.

I too doubt we'll get one, and as for the beta test, I'm on the 'hopefully we'll get the beta by 2016", but not hopeful in a expectant sense, just a wishful thinking sense. Also bear in mind that 2017 was the planned release date when the KS barely began, it may take even longer since they have to add so much additional stuff to it thanks to all the stretch goals we got. Not to mention the multitude of platforms, and work on the prequel game, and classic mode, and and and...yeah I was assuming/hoping that the main game would ship first, followed by a steady stream of content which are stretch goals, although I suppose this could prove logistically challenging. It would not suprise or trouble me deeply if the release slipped far into 2018 or beyond. This is a huge project and has potential to be a wonderful game. I have no idea the development times for any of the 2d Castlevania games, but I'm sure that the development costs for something like SOTN were massive, and the result was a masterpiece that is unlikely to ever be surpassed. Quality game design takes time. |

It coming out in 2016 is as likely as Cryamore and A Hat in Time coming out in 2014.(They didn't, and only one of those projects seems close to completion. Poor Poor Cryamore.)
It's rare that I see any kickstarter game come out at the estimated delivery date. So I'm actually expecting Bloodstained to drop in 2018. :S

The last reply before mathuser was back in November of 2015. We had an update specifically about the release date since then. Normally, thread necromancy doesn't bother me at all, but why would someone resurrect this thread when it's no longer relevant? It's not even 2016 anymore. Please don't do this. Thread locked. The game is scheduled for the first half of 2018. It's great to see new members. It's also great to see they look through older posts!
