There's no way the game will be released in 2016. I'd prefer they take their time to polish this. It's one big chance IGA and his team have since 2008(Order of Ecclesia) to make a new Igavania game. I don't mind waiting. It'd be suck if they rushed it and it comes out bad then Bloodstained will be the final Igavania ever. Let's hope they nailed it, make it a big hit. Surprise the world at the same level as SOTN did. (especially when anyone saw the inverted castle for the first time) And from that success, go on to create a sequel! I don't want this to be his last Igavania game.  benkitti I doubt Iga and his team will rush it, they know what they are doing. I only asked to read peoples response but it is an overwhelming NO! LOL oh well, I guess I will have to find something that people are split over.... hmmm...? |

Yep, 10 years as of January =) Damn, I wonder if I've played anything you've made or helped to make.  Possibly, my first title was Tony Hawk 7(American Wasteland), then Dungeon Siege and Crash Bandicoot on psp, Order Up! on Wii, Ben 10 UA:CD, Cave Story 3D, Endless Skater mobile, and now I'm working in my first AAA game that as I can't talk about. Plus a handful of stuff that got cancelled mid development. |

I've always wanted to make games but I can only do character concept art (if you can all it that lol), main scenario (again if you could call it that) and gameplay mechanics (is that a thing?) but sadly I cannot do much computer stuff. I'd prefer waiting for a game that is polished, so 2017 would be perfect.
I realized that having a rushed game out would result in rushed Quality Assurance and a buggy game.
The developers will end up releasing patch and patch afterwards to fix the game (and we have all played a game like that).

It's probably impossible a 2016 release. Maybe early 2017, but that's still unlikely.
Just sit down and relax, play others Castlevania you haven't played yet, replay the ones you already played, watch movies and live on. And then, 2017 comes, you receive an email with your CD-key for Steam/GoG and you get unbelievable happy, lol.

I too doubt we'll get one, and as for the beta test, I'm on the 'hopefully we'll get the beta by 2016", but not hopeful in a expectant sense, just a wishful thinking sense.
Also bear in mind that 2017 was the planned release date when the KS barely began, it may take even longer since they have to add so much additional stuff to it thanks to all the stretch goals we got. Not to mention the multitude of platforms, and work on the prequel game, and classic mode, and and and...yeah

But ya... the 980 was the next one I was looking at. Mainly trying to decide if I want to do a 780x2 in SLI or just spring for the 980 and plan on getting a second one further down the road. Only reason I'm even debating that is I'm going to be getting one of the FOVE headsets (already pledged to get one) and might possibly be getting either an Oculus Rift or a StarVR headset. |
