If you have Netflix, give Stranger Things a watch. I haven't liked a show this much in forever. Sucks there's only 8 episodes because I'm half way through.
Also, Voltron was fantastic. Netflix is really making some great original shows. There is no valid excuse for me not finishing the second season of Daredevil by now.

Yeah I'll hafta give it a try. My friends recently recommended Sense 8 to me, and I was shocked by how good it is so far! Netflix really outdoes themselves sometimes.

Voltron is out?!? AHHH
I remember being in I think my first (one of my first) fan panels at a con, it was about Voltron. The host had asked who our favorite characters were, and I had my hand raised with Lance and only had on deck "because he's cool!". My answer didn't seem sufficient and everybody was a Keith fan. Pretty lame. If you're still a teenager, Cyclops isn't cooler than Wolverine hahaha...

Stranger Things is truly awesome. It's all my favorite 80's movies into one! I just finished the show... and yes CastleDan I feel the same way  it felt like a scarier goonies show. And yes it sucks that it only has 8 episodes. I get over this by thinking of it as a "mini-series" though. I don't see it having a squeal though... unless happens years later with Mike and his friends older and eleven coming back the same age or something. What really gets me is Winona Ryder which was an 80's starlet is a mom here lol. but yeah it was a really good show. |

They're definitely doing more seasons, they've said this but to them it's a sequel. It'll pick up with the same characters. They said that they really fleshed out the lore, like the (UD) you'll know what I mean... There's a 30 page document fleshing it out. |

Just started it last night. I'm HOOKED. Everything is so faithful to the 80's. Consider me a fan. The only thing that is not authentic is the way they talk... no one said "dude" once lol but really the lingo is a bit off... though I'm kinda ok with it the 80's way of speaking was a bit annoying. |
