I know there is no true release date on Zelda Breath of the Wild, but they say it will be released at the same time as the NX, around March... problem is Bloodstained will be released around March too... I am a bit worried that the game will be overshadowed by Nintendo's new system and Zelda's release.
What do you guys think, will this be a problem for Bloodstained?

I don't think it will hurt it at all, of the few who are getting bloodstained on a nintendo system (myself included) we were going to buy it anyway and just happen to enjoy nintendo. At least that's my perspective on it.

Bloodstained is multiplatform and the first true igavania made by iga in along time, zelda is a console exclusive open world game in a sea of other competing open world games. I think zelda has brand loyalty hype but bloodstained has more creator loyalty hype.
Then again all this what if stuff means nothing in the long run and both games can either do great or terrible. Only time will tell, I personally look forward more to bloodstained because the only modern nintendo console I own is my New 3DS (such a dumb name) mostly just to keep up with pokemon.

Hmm, I don't really think so. As someone pointed out, Bloodstained is on a lot of platforms, pretty sure 3DS is the only one not on the list. LoZ is only gonna be on the Wii U and the NX (when it comes out). Bloodstained will sell no matter what.
But, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about a "big rig" game coming out on the other systems at the same time. I really don't want what happened to Battleborn to happen to Bloodstained. To those who don't know, Battleborn came out before Overwatch but got stiffed because Blizzard is a bigger company. That isn't saying Battleborn isn't a lesser game though.

It's not as much a problem because no other large game (or small, even) that could come out around the same time is anything like Bloodstained. How many other side scrolling games are released in stores on consoles now? Basically none
Gamers' finances may be a consideration, but I don't know of anything huge enough coming to significantly draw away from Bloodstained...like a console Final Fantasy, Blizzard game, something of that caliber.

I mentioned Bloodstained when I published the next chapter of my story and will continue to do so until the game comes out. Every little bit helps. Also, purify pointed out something I completely forgot about. Bloodstained isn't as much risk to be overshadowed because it is a sidescroller. Battleborn was remotely similar to Overwatch so the two were constantly compared to each other. The end result was a Blizzard obviously. But, it's very, very, very unlike a big business is going to release one. That is an advantage. |

I think it's likely that the NX will be compatible with the Wii U's gamepad, so the NX version of Bloodstained (assuming there is one) will likely play much the same, the map being displayed on the NX gamepad, and the gameplay being seen on the television screen. Nintendo and IGA will figure something out, I wouldn't worry too much. :]
