Hello. So I see that the modding community has really started to kick off with this game despite this only being a demo so far. Nice.
But I'm here to talk about a related topic.
As you know, recently Bethesda has managed to get some mods working on consoles, and as a PS4 player who obviously thinks more options is a good thing, I was wondering what people thought on brining this capability to other games. In this case, Bloodstained.
Now I'm not saying it would be easy or without problems. And I'm not saying it should be done if it detracts from other game features. But assuming it was possible and did not detract from other gameplay features, would you want it?
Edit: If a mod sees this can you remove the top option? I thought that was the title area not a option.

EIf I edit the poll (you can edit it as well) it will reset the results.
Modding will not be supported. I wouldn't get my hopes up that you can mod on consoles. It's only available at the moment on PC because the Unreal 4 Engine files were not encrypted. We don't know if that was due to time, or if IGA doesn't discourage mods.

Mods on console? Is it even doable without opening and changing the console? Consoles nowadays are pretty much PCs hardware wise. It's just a matter of fooling the operating system to doing what you want. |

I think in the case of Bethesda they actually made sure that support mods on consoles, afaik.
Since what we are doing with modding at the moment is unofficial, I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

Yeah I don't know if modding will be a thing on PC. :/ I've seen some crafty people hack and mod on Wii U, games such as Splatoon, but other than just the recent ones, most console games aren't really able to get modded.
The PC version may or may not get mods but...I dunno. I guess a lot of Indie games on steam have mod compatibility so...I don't think it's impossible???

I don't mind to be fair, since I will play it on PC. As long as I can keep the vanilla version, I'm fine.
If mods can add interesting tweaks, why not ?
