So I heard most of the creatures in Bloodstained will be inspired from the demons of The Lesser Key of Solomon.
Aren't all of these demons have some connections with Solomon himself?
Speaking of Solomon, historically, he "was the third king of Israel and was a just and wise ruler for the nation". (Source: Google and Wikipedia)

(Now we enter the fiction I think). About the 72 demons, I heard Solomon captured them (http://www.mysticfiles.com/72-demons-evoked-by-king-solomon). I didn't dig enough about how and why Solomon "got" or want to summon these demons.
But randomly, I came up with my own theory: Solomon might be the real antagonist of Bloodstained and not Gebel. Gebel is probably just a puppet. So Solomon might be the counterpart of Dracula from Castlevania.
Both Solomon and Dracula are based on real historical figures (King Solomon and Vlad Dracula/Vlad the Impaler) and they are both high ranking nobles (one is a king, the other is prince).
Not to forget to mention Solomon also committed a sin: he turns away from God (According to the bible).
And let's not forget King Solomon is a very wise man. So maybe he got the ability to orchestrate things very well.
The "magi-crystal curse" is the counterpart of the "Power of Dominance". Both can control creatures and are very powerful.
Both Miriam and Gebel have a curse. Gebel might see Miriam as a rival because she will probably refuse on destroying humanity unlike him. Inevitably, Miriam will have no choice but to fight Gebel.
In some Castlevania games, we see "friends" who fight each other inside the castle. For example: Juste vs Maxim, Alucard vs Richter, Soma vs Julius, Shanoa vs Albus, Morris family vs Lecarde family (Portrait of Ruin).
Somehow, I sense the fight between Miriam and Gebel will be a mix of what I said above and a mix of Soma vs Graham.
So in resume, Miriam and Gebel might be "rivals" of the same level and the true source of these demons might come from Solomon himself.
I know Bloodstained is completely a new game with a new story, but there might be some plot twists no? Btw, what I said in this post is just my own theory. So there is a very high chance it's not true, but it might give us other different idea on how Bloodstained storyline might look like.
What do you guys think? Do what I say make sense or not at all? Or do you have another idea/theory? lol
